What's Your Escape?

:
Where do you go to get away from it all?

Do you physically go, or mentally?

I go for a nice walk on the beach...

If I can get there, then it's Alton Towers theme park.

But the Org provides me with a great escape from everything.

Listen to music, talk to friends, go shopping, go for a walk, or do something creative.

Music provides an excellent escape for me. When I have the time, a long warm lavender bubble bath. A walk through a trail in a rainforest.

The fast daily, or weekly escape, would be drawing, music, going out with friends to a café. On the web: heartless-bitches.com, www.disgruntledhousewifes.com, the org, and rosas.be. When there's money on my account; a short city trip (Pisa and Lucca were nice) and going to various theatre performances.

When I'm ready to jump of a cliff or hurt people; some time in africa, very remote from all e-mails, faxes, phones, television channels and a couple of local friends who are more occupied with the essentials of life (food, care...) and who can enjoy the small things in life.

Freespirit

hug (Good Reflection) LaV

It varies for me...

~Home
and within my home... I love to clean... really clean/organize.

~I love to drive (alone), this time gives me an enormous amount of "reflective time", the beautiful feeling of freedom... of being able to go just about anywhere I truly "choose" to. Listening to just the right music (for the moment) and being surrounded by nature on both sides... it is pure blissful heaven. (I get this regularly when I drive out to see my Aunt and Uncle, nothing but endless mountains and beautiful secluded (untouched) desert views in all directions). I am going down to visit this weekend.heart

~Lately... (alone) is not what I desire any longer... for I truly want Byron right beside me heart... he truly completes my equation of "life", with him it truly feels as "one"... the beautiful moment I once felt (more so alone) is profoundly intensified when he is with me, it feels so right, actually I know it's right, to argue with such a beautiful connection would be... unfair to our spirit.(((deep sigh)))

going to the park with a good book and even better sandwich.

or to the mall to window shop and people watch.

or going to border's or any bookstore/cafe helps me unwind.

The library, north Cali beaches, my bed, brushing my cat (she loves it, and makes the cutest little pissed off noises when I stop), writing, .orging square, food food and more food I'm afraid... when I'm stressed I seem to cook like there's eight people in the house (neighbors love it), and music to the max. I clean really really well when I'm mad...
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Music is a great escape - but if their was ever a choice between the 2, Id have 2 agree with Persia: there's just something about walking along a beach on your own, and staring out at the horizon, and being AWED (in the TRUE) sense of the word by...it all.

it gives me perspective on things, u know? sun

It all depends on my wallet and free time...

If I'm FLAT broke or have obligations, a hot bath, lights out, some soy milk, a burning incense and relaxing music in the CD player do the trick.

If I've got a little more cash to work with, I drive and drive and drive. Doesn't matter where, I just go.

If I've been a particularly good boy financially, and I can get the time off work, I fly somewhere -- anywhere. Paris, I find, does wonders for a weary soul.
