There was a rumor going around the office where I work that two of the guys (vice presidents) that I report to were leaving the company. I just sat down and talked to one of them to find out if the rumor was true, and sure enough, it is! They are going to work for a competiting company, and their last day will be sometime next week.

The company I work for has been going through a lot of changes lately with management, ownership and whatnot, and ever since then, about four of our employees have left or are leaving the company for a better opportunity elsewhere. What is strange is that the company that they are going to work for is the same one! Strange but true! My workload is going to be a lot lighter from now on, because I still have three other guys that I report to, but they don't give me as much to do as the two who are leaving. It's funny how things change.

Thanks all for your well wishes. We just had a company meeting, and the boss says that the company is doing okay so far. In fact, March was a very good month (the best we've had in a while), so I hope the trend continues.

I really like where I work, and I would hate to have to think about trying to find another job. I hate job interviews!
