Some bits really annoyed about this week's episode. Why didn't Dwight shoot Simon in the back of the head when they were sneaking round Hilltop on their own?
And how the hell did all those people sleeping on the hard floor of the Hilltop mansion not wake up when a grown man fell all the way down the stairs?!!
They keep sh*t like this up, what with Rick suddenly not being able to hit the side of a barn with an assault rifle (must keep Negan alive!), and they're gonna keep on leaking viewers.
it's amazing how 'dumb' they're making Rick look. He's a former cop and yet everytime he gets near Negan,he somehow misses every shot? It's almost becoming like a comedy. For this reason,I'd rather not see anymore Rick and Negan fight scenes. It's pointless.
I had forgotten He was a cop, it's abosolutely ludacrious how dumb they are makin him look. |

Exactly!! And the whole cast have become expert marksman. This week Maggie nonchalently shot a walker in the head with a handgun that was standing up on a gantry a legit 60 metres away. And Rick, a cop, can't hit Negan once with a machine rifle from 20 metres? F*ck that sh*t.
Its a shame they've wasted the Negan v Rick stuff like this, as their one physical confrontation in the comics is amazing and has some actual repurcussions for the characters.

he was reckless with rage! he could have help back and waited for him to craw out... one shot (easy at that range) it would be over. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

And while I'm ranting when is Maggie gonna start looking pregnant? She's been up the duff for ages and there isn't even a hint of a bump! |

Whenever this is mentioned on any of the Walking Dead forums, viewers always remind people that the show moves at a slow pace I'm like,"no kidding",lol. One guy said "Remember when Negan killed Glenn and Abraham? In their time, that only happened a few weeks ago"
but yeah,I think by now,she should be showing. |

I saw an article about the season finale.Basically it was saying that the "war" will come to an end, which is great news.,,,but it said that there will be some interesting "surprises" a few more deaths, but some good things too. |

i'm thinking tonight's episode (April Fool's Day and Easter) could feature a break from the normal flow of things. maybe it will be the show's first-ever musical episode? with Daryl and Rick in pastel Easter Bunny suits while Negan and the Saviors sing backup? no fighting, just one big Easter egg hunt and singalong. wouldn't that be an interesting change of pace? |

I was wondering the same, great episode today, but Rick and Morgan acted like few times before, I didn't expect it. I thought they really wanted to take those saviours back to Hilltop. |

Another descent into darkness for the once and future Ricktator.
Another descent into darkness for Morgan.
One character who, in his preteens, recklessly put the rest of the group in danger dies and is replaced by a NEW preteen who recklessly puts the group in danger.
This thing is going in circles, badly, as yet another showrunner will be on board next season.
I've missed several episodes this year and feel like I haven't missed anything after I read the recaps.
It's going to get worse.

I enjoyed this week's episode. So many interesting things are happening! For the longest time,it seemed as if this show was in a 'standstill' mode, with the Negan storyline. But now it looks like they're finally moving on.The 'war' ends in the season finale and I'm thrilled. |

Please, what do you expect from Rick at this very point of the show. A mans gotta do, what a mans gotta do. He did what He was supposed to do. |

Indeed ... and it would be boring and predictable if Rick was 'nicey nicey' all the time. He just lost his son, having kept him relatively safe through so much sh*t ... that's gotta mess with a man mentally ... hence how he's acting now.
Something profound needs to happen to Rick to pull him back ... this isn't something he can just sleep on and go back to his old self.
