The Pats talked him into pulling a Quasi-Belichick: accept the job only to resign it immediately.

They lost a young player to a traffic accident.

Word is Luck may need additional surgery keeping him out until 2019 perhaps.

Colts are paying the price for their clueless front office not surrounding their young, franchise QB with a solid O-Line like the Cowboys did with Prescott. They traded a top draft pick for fucking Trent Richardson....how dumb can they be?

I have to believe Kraft guaranteed him the HC job once Belichick retires. Otherwise, this move makes no sense.

Luck got them to the AFC title game in his first 3 seasons. They forgot that the skill players mean little without a line to block and protect them. They did pay the price.

There's a bit of a difference b/w Prescott and Luck because DAL already had one of if not the best O-Line in football intact when Prescott -- who wasn't expected to start right away -- joined the team. IND didn't have a very strong line when they drafted Luck, and didn't put one around him after he got there. I feel bad for the guy, but hopefully, he can recover.

They thought Luck's greatness would make up for their shortcoming.....fool's gold. Football games are won in the trenches, offense & defense.

Truth. Both offensive lines ignited the fireworks in the Super Bowl with excellent pass protection and run blocking right to the wire.

Then the first defensive line to make an impact play won the game, and that came down to good DL beating a solid OL one-on-one in the 58th minute of the game.

After seeing what the 49ers gave Jimmy G, Cousins will get STUPID money.

I guess they had no choice, but I'm still not sold on Bortles. He and Coach Marone need to step up their game in order to get by the Patriots next January. Just look at Pedersen's playcalling in the SB compared to Marone's in the AFC championship....playing not to lose won't get it done against Brady.

It's no guarantee the Jags will do what they've done this past season next season

Every team in the division was broke down except Tennessee. They won't sneak up on anyone.

Let Houston get healthy and stay that way next season. Lookout!

Fair but even at face value Bortles is getting paid well below the upper tier of QBs, leaving JAX room to still draft a new QB high, leaving Bortles would to assume an Alex Smith-like role.

The Jags need healthier targets next season.

This division will hinge on the health of Andrew Luck and DeShaun Watson in 2018.

I hope the Giants don't draft Saquon Barkley. We need one of these hot shot young QBs. Eli's 37, and he's not going to get any better. You don't get many chances to draft a potential franchise QB - Giants better not blow this.

You don't have a line right now. If I'm the Jints and I know I'm NOT going to draft a QB, I'd trade down for more picks, and put myself in position to draft Quinton Nelson, the road-grading OL from Notre Dame.

Now if Gettleman feels Davis Webb is the real deal, then your scenario might happen. But he better be right.

Oh, I'm with you. I think drafting a potential franchise QB is best considering Eli's age and the relative youth of the Eagles and Cowboys. But if they are not going to get a franchise QB, they should trade down and help protect the guy they have.

As for Webb, the lower-round guy in the bullpen almost never works out.
