In superhero movies, whether DC Comics, Marvel or others?

Is it Loki? The Joker? Mr. Freeze? Ultron? Skellator? Donald Trump?

I always enjoyed the maniacal genius of The Joker. He didn't give a shit. The Riddler was balls out nutty, but THe Joker always seemed to have an extra gene of vitriol in him.

The Joker will always be my favourite Villain. And Heath Ledger fucking nailed the role.

Heath Ledger's Joker (2008) or James Saito as Shredder (1990)

The Joker is a great one Ledger and Nicholson portrayals both are great. Ledger's portrayal of the character is darker and more sinister. But my favorite is Lord Voldemort.

That is easy my all-time fav villians are from Disney........Maleficent from the classic Sleeping Beauty (1959) and Lady Tremaine (aka the Evil Stepmother) from Cinderella (1950) both voiced by the awesome Eleanor Audley

My all-time fav super hero villian is Loki played with such relish by Tom Hiddleston, his performance in The Avengers (2012) was EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Other non-comic sci-fi villains would be Darth Sidious (Ian McDiarmid) and Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving).

But if we're limiting it to comic book films, I'd say, in rough order:

Bane (Tom Hardy), The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Its hard to beat The Joker and his 'doing it for sh*ts and giggles' approach, so unpredictable and charismatic.

I always loved the Malcolm X / Martin Luther King dynamic they got between Magneto and Prof. Xavier ... I don't think they will ever top hero/villain angle in comics.

And then there's Negan, just the best thing to come out of the The Walking Dead comic ... I'm hoping Jeffery Dean's portrayal starts living up to the comic version soon.

Probably The Joker . Michael Myers is ill. How he could b miles away in 1 shot, then the very next he's right up on his victim, skills . Chucky .

I love what JDM has done with the role ... I think its more the script writing.

In the TV show he seems to always be in wisecracking, grinning, 'funny' Negan mode. Its good for what it is, but story wise its a bit too one-note. In the comic the moments when Negan is being serious and putting his point across stand out more, so that you actually stop and think 'hmmmm maybe he has a point'.

In the TV show Negan is a pure boo-hiss bad guy ... in the comics its alot less clear cut.

It was a book first, written in 1900. When I was a kid they only showed the movie once a year on TV. Lots of anticipation.

Terence Stamp is the definitive General Zod.

But I liked what Michael Shannon brought to the character. That was lost in the problems with Man of Steel, which started strong but faded in the end.
