on DeShaun Watson. This guy is a human video game. He's a rookie and makes a

few mistakes but he's fun to watch and has a lot of poise.

As far as the need for an elite receiver you're right but if you don't you better have one that can move the chains. The Steelers had Hines Ward and Cedrick Wilson as their starting receivers when they won the Super Bowl early 2006. Neither one was considered elite although Hines was close as you can get. The difference was Hines moved the chains and did all the little things like block on running plays and pass plays that wasn't designed to go to him. Hines loved to block. A trait Martavis doesn't possess. Hines used to piss plenty of DB's knocking the hell out of them.

The game has changed since 2006, which imo has resulted in less of a need for the WRs to be physical players to either block OR deal with bruising play off the line from DBs and headhunting in the back seven.

But what HASN'T changed since 2006 is the need to have wideouts that can move the sticks. if Bryant would do that, he wouldn't have these issues. There's room for another WR to get fed in that offense.

Picking the Redskins because they played tough both games against the Eagles and Chiefs. Cowboys destroyed a 0-6 team, still early for me to say the Cowboys are back.

WSH found new ways to disappoint me. They were horrific in special teams, and their WRs pulled a disappearing act again. Doctson, once again, drops a game changing pass. But I admire the heart Manusky's defense showed most of the game, and understand that WSH was down 4 O-Linemen. Still, a winnable game.

Maybe the MVP of the game was the federal judge in New York who cleared the way for Zeke to play.

As much as I enjoy seeing Browns fans suffer Watson would have been a much better building block than Kizer who is very raw. I beg to differ with San Fran. Kyle Shanahan is their head coach. He did a good job with Matt Ryan. Watson just have that IT factor. With some pieces on the defensive side it wouldn't have taken the 49ers that long to ascend. One of my friends is a 49ers fan and he called taking Watson long before the draft and he is agonizing over them passing on Watson now.

Watching this year draft was so obvious. Who ever was picking players for the Browns was looking at ESPN's list of who Pittsburgh was projected to pick. Haha Cleveland, how that work out for you? So yeah that's the reason Watson was not drafted by the Browns.

Brown is a creature of habit. He shook up the organization 15 years ago when he hired Lewis . . . and hasn't changed much since. Marvin deserves credit for helping pull the Bengals out of the dumpster and onto a respectable path. But they're regressing.

(I still wonder what things would have been like if Palmer hadn't gotten hurt in the 2005/6 playoff game).
