M. Bryant is pissing me off. If he does get traded hope he smokes more weed and the NFL gives him a 2 year suspension.

Well it looks like Mike Tomlin put his foot down. MB will not play in Sunday's game. From what

I read on 24/7 sports earlier this evening MB told the media he's suspended for his twitter

shenanigan with a fan regarding JuJu Smith-Schuster. Mind you he already had been warned from

Tomlin during the offseason when Schuster was drafted and he tweeted that Schuster was gonna take Coates spot on the roster. It looks like it has come full circle and karma is biting Bryant in the ass.

I supported Bryant during his suspension but this drama he's causing right now is unnecessary.

I'm glad Coach Tomlin showed some balls and let him know who's in charge. Bryant better not just be concerned about his role and future in Pittsburgh but he better be concerned about whether he's gonna be in football period. The choice is his.

[Edited 10/25/17 18:34pm]

I did too. Steelers organization has stood by this guy and he still acts like that. Clearly he is not a team player. At this point I don't care if he comes back next year or not.

I concur. He's done nothing this year to warrant the drama he's causing. I'd gladly take Cobi Hamilton back for him and a 4th round pick.

Good for that fool, winning without him anyway

Martavis Bryant to be inactive for Steelers vs. Lions

Martavis Bryant's demand for more playing time has fallen on deaf ears.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that the unhappy Steelers wideout was informed by team brass that he will be inactive for Sunday night's game against the Detroit Lions.

Asked why he wouldn't play, Bryant told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler: "Social media."

Bryant returned to the team Wednesday, only to find himself demoted to the scout team following his recent rash of me-first behavior.

Bryant threw the Steelers for a loop this week by complaining about his playing time on Instagram before telling ESPN's Josina Anderson on Tuesday: "If they don't try to include me more and continue to do the same thing, then I want out, period. I just want to be happy. ... I would like for it to be here, but if not then oh well. Just got to move on."

Bryant has played fewer snaps this season than rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster, catching just 18 passes on the year for 234 yards and a touchdown. In Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown-centric passing attack, that still makes Bryant the team's second-leading wideout, but his production is nowhere near expectations.

It remains to be seen if Pittsburgh will attempt to trade Bryant, even after coach Mike Tomlin promised that wasn't in the cards.

The Steelers are likely waiting to see how Bryant responds to this latest setback before putting him back on the field. For his sake, keeping quiet this time around would do both sides a world of good.

Saw a nice highlight reel of Bryant missing and dropping balls for this season, and he wonders why he's not getting the ball more often.

As Louis Riddick said earlier this week, it shows a complete lack of awareness of where he is in his career.

WRs that act out want to be NBA players, most of them aren't elite, and most aren't worth the headaches they cause. Elite WRs can help you win games, but you don't really need them to win a title.

Bryant, who isn't close to being elite, is going to learn the hard way.

I like what Deion Sanders said about Bryant. Bryant has to realize he's just the accessory. He's the

tie. Antonio Brown is the suit. LMAO

As far as the need for an elite receiver you're right but if you don't you better have one that can

move the chains. The Steelers had Hines Ward and Cedrick Wilson as their starting receivers when

they won the Super Bowl early 2006. Neither one was considered elite although Hines was close as

you can get. The difference was Hines moved the chains and did all the little things like block on running plays and pass plays that wasn't designed to go to him. Hines loved to block. A trait Martavis doesn't possess. Hines used to piss plenty of DB's knocking the hell out of them. lol

This is exactly what I mean when I keep saying that lack of talent is not our problem. It's lack of focus.

The immaturity needs to be dealt with effectively or it will be more of the same. Titles are won by those who focus on the task at hand.

Once again, coaching staff. But also team players need to step up as well.

I hear ya but the coaching staff are not the ones out here clowning on social media, getting into fights/arrested and slanging their damn d!cks all over creation.

This generation has the attention span of a flea. Like Della Reese said in Harlem Nights, hos was respectable back in the day. lol

I know, but there are rules they have or should have about what they can and can't say on social media. Lots of jobs have that policy. NFL is no different, players are the employees.... I know, players hate to be reminded of that.

I'm a die-hard Seahawks fan. I'm watching Seahawks-Texans. I'm impressed with Deshaun Watson. He has good command of his offense, his composure is good, he has good presence in the pocket (willing to stand and deliver when there are defenders coming at him), and he's made a few throws into tight windows. He definitely to be a franchise quarterback. He also has 2 good wide receivers, DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. And from what I understand, his head coach Bill O'Brien is a great offensive mind and knows how to coach quarterbacks very well.

As for my Seahawks, the patchwork offensive line is making it hard for the offense to function smoothly. Also, the offense is still in need of a consistent run game. I love Thomas Rawls, but he has a hard time staying healthy.

I know. I think they probably do have some rules about that but it's a shame that grown men need to be reminded of something so basic as common sense. That was my point.
