As I flipthrough the tv channels, all I see is television shows such as ship mate, blind date and even old episodes of love collection, but all I want to know is, who are the people that actually date? Cuz to me, it seem like people don't date anymore, they just ... what's the word i'm looking for... hit it off really well then take things from there, then before you know it, they're in the haystack swapping spit like two hockey players in heat ... I mean does courtship actually exsist in today's world or is a thing of the past?

I don't think it exists anymore, not much anyway... those shows crack me up though! Dating, anymore, is as you described... meet, do the deed, move on to the next one.

Dating doesn't exsist and going to the matinee at the on a tuesday afternoon, I wouldn't nesscarily consider courtship

I think the word "date" is dated. I mean, I've been on lots of "dates" over the last few years, but no one ever really calls it that anymore. Maybe it puts too much pressure for it to be something spectacular when all it really is, is a chance to have fun and get to know someone better.
