True or False: 90% of the world population eats junk food? I say it's likely true, despite the mindless celebrity fluff you hear about.
What do you think? |

90% of the world's population can't afford junk food or don't have access to it. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Bullshit.
Population EU: 500,000,000
Population US + Canada: 360,000,000
Japan: 125,000,000
That's about 1 billion people.
World population: 7.5 billion. So those people alone represent more than 10% of the world population. There are many many more countries where people can afford and have access to junk food. |

Guess you need to define "junk food", but if you mean something like McDonalds, no way. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right? |

That ain't 90%.
You said 90% can't afford or access junk food, I say that's not true. 90% is a huge exaggeration. |

in order to eat it you have to have access to it so what is it you mean when YOU say 90% of the WORLD'S population eats junk food??? Saying flippant things isn't facts. Its just saying flippant things. Damn the more I see the more I'm in the corner of the LMASA brigade. People really don't know the basic definitions of words that fly from their mouths or finger tips. It's the foundation of communication. 6.3 billion is 90% of 7 billion. |

When I was in Kenya, alright that was years ago, but I remember you could get a portion of chips (fries) for as little as 20-30 cents. With a piece of chicken to go with it, you'd still eat for less than a dollar. |

I know I'm consuming too much of Jack n the Box's Vanilla Orange Hi-C. It's got vitamin C in it so it's healthy, right?
This is coming up fast.
Coke Zero or Cherry Coke on occasion. |

I think we should rather stop wasting massive amounts of food. And stop being so dependent on coal and oil. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right? |

Honestly now I believe a high number of the worlds population has tried at least once in their life time junk food, not saying they live on it. Coke is everywhere. Cookies, Candies, Chips are cheap and with their packaging makes it easily can go anywhere in the world. |

I don't know, seems to me I've heard that even if it's available in a lot of these countries especially due to people living there from other countries, the majority of the indigenous population still cannot afford to buy it therefore they live off what they can grow or hunt for themselves. But I don't have any proof of that so whatever.

Maybe 90% of the world has had junk food in their mouths, maybe not, I don't think anyone has done a study on it, so it's a belief thing.

To do a real study you would have to test everybody on planet earth and that is not gonna happen. Coke is everywhere and that is a fact. My belief is that a large portion of the population has tried junk food at least once in their life time. |
