Usually I write. But I also love to go someplace - preferably somewhere warm (like the beach) - anywhere in the sun. Go for a horseride - do something physical to back off tension and release stress. Listening to music (of course!), watching a movie, and dancing. Wonderful ways of escapism. | |

Photography--getting lost within the experience of capturing the feelings you're getting from what you're seeing...everything else gets tuned out, and the world is absorbed thru the viewing lens...I adore it.
Bookstores/libraries--the silence is so peaceful, surrounded by thousands upon thousands of books...all types, all topics...sooo many books to escape inside... Driving aimlessly thru beautiful scenery--not having a plan or destination, no time schedule...just alone with my thoughts, some great music, and gorgeous scenery all around...stopping whenever my heart desires it, eating at whatever restaurant grabs my attention...I never tire of that... Most of all, being with Julie/Freespirit --hearing her voice, her words...feeling her hand nestled in mine as we walk together to a restaurant, a movie, in the mall...doesn't matter...just the exquisite feeling of knowing she's right there at my side, takes me to another place...everything we do together brings me such a thorough sense of peace, it's sometimes overwhelming  ... | |
