I booked my annual visit to Alton Towers earlier this week. yay!

When are you going? Don't go on a week-end. You'll never get on anything.

That must be the reason why my son knocks out annoying noise on his. I ended up hiding the little rod thingy on him. It was driving me up the wall! All I heard was "DING... DING... DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING...DING!!" Over and over and over again. It was almost worse than nails on a chalkboard or a fork scraping across a plate!

He needs practice. smile

I know, right!? lol Well, he can get the little rod thingy back and take it to his dad's and irritate him with it and practice. In fact, when I moved, I kept that thing out of the box and some how it found it's way along with us.

It'd be okay if he was actually trying to "do" something. But, he'll sit on the couch watching television and just ding the damned thing and I don't think he even hears it. It wears on my last nerve... or did... not anymore! smile

Training and sparring relaxes me mentally. So do movies and video games.

I don't really have a physical place nowadays but when I was younger I'd hang out at the music instrument stores all day to get away from it all. That was so cool to be surrounded by music constantly as a kid and just listen. sigh

Almost every day, I drink my coffee in a diner, reading the papers.

I love it, though these days I have to prepare myself mentally before reading all the distressing news.

And oh, in my work.

If I add it all up, my life is one great escape (from cleaning up the house and clerical paperwork rolleyes)
