My fave PS2 titles:

Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Rez, Ico, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo 3, Auto Modellista, Metal Gear Solid 2, Zone of the Enders, Frequency.

I'm really looking forward to the sequel to Ico...

While I'm sleeping or far, far away, someone needs to remove the Vice City and GTA3 games from my perimeter. Just take them, and run fast.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Oh man...Ico was a fantastic game. I'm really into the GTA games too. I got the GTAVC soundtrack box set for Christmas - good stuff!

I also was obsessed with Summoner for a few months in 2001, but it was the first role-playing gmae I had (I've been avoiding them all these years), so I really don't know what good role-playing games are.

Right now I'm playing Zelda on the Gamecube - I pre-ordered
"Wind Waker" and got a Gamecube version of "Ocarina of Time" along with the Master Quest. What a game. Seriously. The five-year devolution in graphics is nothing, given the spectacular gameplay. Before that, I had the first two Zelda games on the NES, and the first one on the Game Boy (curse you, level 7!).

As for "Wind Waker" - it has to be played to be believed. When I first played it, I just ran aroud for a while, saying "this is like playing a cartoon."

Oh well. I just bought Winning 11 and It. Is. Addictive. The controls take a little time to get used to but once you do, it's an amazing game! A game has to be this good to tear me away from...

ZOE2. It's absolutely gorgeous and the controls are so easy to grasp. Cool extra missions.

Other games I play currently are:

Tao Feng
DOA volleyball (Tina worship)
MGS2.

I'm waiting for NBA Street 2 personally.

Good taste!
I'm so looking forward to ZOE2 whenever it gets released over here... I can't be bothered importing. Any ZOE2 looks groovy... I just wish Konami would do like Tecmo and LEAVE the original Japanese voices in there with English subtitles... shit American voice acting just pissed me off in the original ZOE.

NBA Street was brilliant...looking forward to #2.

Anyone here get a GBA SP? I've been playing the new Kuru Kuru game, it's great fun smile

Jak & Daxter 2 is gonna be very interesting. A darker tale second time around it seems!

If you liked J&D though, you should definitely try out Ratchet & Clank. It's using the same engine licensed from Naughty Dog, and in many ways it's a lot better than J&D. So much cool stuff in that game...

Yeah, Outcast was so great! I wish they'd do a sequel... I don't really think the PS2 has enough processing power to do justice to the voxel engine though... they'd have to either be ultra-cool PS2 vector unit hackers or else they'd have to re-work the game to use a generic triangle pushing engine.

Sorry, went all nerdy there for a moment.

Anyway, Outcast rules. Very... French. In a good way. Reminded me of other French games like Flashback on the Genesis/Megadrive etc.

I loved Flashback!
One of my fav games ever.

I'm sure I'd heard they were doing Outcast 2
over 2 years ago, but I've never heard anything
since, so I don't know if they're still working
on it or whether it was abandoned.

Infrogrames have had some hard times lately... I think I heard it was canned sad Hopefully they'll get it going again...

Flashback was great... it really deserves a sequel too. I wish they'd do a nice 2D side-perspective game like that nowadays on a modern console. Imagine how cool that would be...

I loved the 2D side on platformers.

I loved Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssee too.

Maybe something like Flashback, but done
with the 'apparent' 3d of something like
Pandemonium would be nice.

I loved NiGHTS on the Saturn too

It's a great shame that Sonic never really
gelled properly in 3D.

NiGHTS is indeed a great game , I so wish that Sonic Team would do a sequel

I wish that UGA would do another SC5 game too

Thanks Ian for letting me know about the re-issue of Frquency, will keep an eye out for it,if I have no luck
I may just well ask a favor

Much love yes Pochacco

I never thought of that. That would be cool. I prefer original Japanese dialogue anyway so I could handle English subtitles (as long as THEY were done well too.)
