Being Stranded Have you ever been stranded somewhere and all you wanted to do was leave and you couldn't because you don't have your car with you?
This is the situation that I am finding myself in right now. It's never happened to me before and let me tell you... I can't fucking stand it! Waterford got nailed with an ice storm and over 300,000 homes and businesses were without electricity since Friday. Well, I was okay until yesterday (why mine went out yesterday I will never know... the storm is over) and I just want to go. This sucks. | |

I never understood when people would carry on about how crazy they would feel when they weren't able to leave a place they were at because they didn't have their car... now I know. Is a bus a bad idea too? I'd give you a lift... but I'm kinda far away from you myself! Oh, come on! Come get me!
I don't know about the bus... I've never been on one and I'm not sure where to start or where to go to get on one. I'll tough it out and will remember this for next time. Though, it was nice being warm. My place got down to 42 degrees before I broke down and left. Poor Izzy. | |

That's it! I am booking a plane ticket right now... then I'll rent a car, and locate you, and get you where you need to be going! I couldn't leave a friend stranded like this... and Izzy too... I'm sure it won't take me too long to get there...
