Carrie leaves a Legacy that will be celebrated by Future Generations of Sci-Fi Fans....Once again, 60 is a young age to take your last bow..It's great that she spent her last days doing what she Loved...Not many Famous/NonFamous folks can say they are doing what they Love..It's sad that a lot of us will leave this World not having gone after our Passion..

I'm so glad Carrie finished her scenes for Star Wars Episode VIII..We're gonna send her off BIG in December 2017...

I'm telling you now that long time Star Wars marks are going to do all they can [with their money] to make Episode 8 the biggest selling film of that saga. Real talk. nod

Yep, that's really sad and sad for the entire family. There is nothing like a mother's heartbreak.

She's got a rich legacy beyond Star Wars, as a writer, comedienne, performer, and fearless public personality.

That said, before there was Ripley, Katniss, Lucy, or Wonder Woman, or any of the modern female action franchise leads, there was Princess Leia.

An amazing, brilliant, stunningly beautiful person. God rest her soul, and her mother's as well.

Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I wonder how they'll handle that now.

She was also on Catastrophe, an Amazon original series. Bawdy and foul-mouthed as usual. I loved her scene in Austin Powers, too.

They paid tribute in last nights episode

I saw that. sad I used to think it was Candice Bergin doing Angela's voice. She could sorta slip in there, and keep the character going. Or they could just not write her in, or kill her off, or something. I think there's a great opportunity to have some self-deprecating humor with the character if she gets killed off, much the way Carrie did in real life. They do shows about 9 months ahead of time, so they're rarely timely the way South Park can be, since their turn around is a week or two. Time will tell.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
