Anyone wanna try it out, and report back? I'm not too sure what it is, but I just got to know about it, and I'd like some non-technical people to react to it, and tell us whether they wanna use it or not..... | |

You see, it's far too much trouble for us to select the link text, copy it, and paste it into the address bar; not to mention the fact that we'd probably also need to open a new browser tab too. Actually I don't know how to linkify stuff here on the Org!
Also, in Firefox at least, you can simply highlight it, right click, and "Open link in new Tab"... | |

Also, in Firefox at least, you can simply highlight it, right click, and "Open link in new Tab"... It's quite easy, if you're using a pc or laptop then you'll get all the html options which includes a little linky icon at the top of the edit box which, when clicked, brings up a little window into which you type / paste your link and link text. Not sure about tablets, but on phones you click on the URL icon at the top of the edit box and the instructions for linkifying your url appear. Also, you'd be amazed at the number of Firefox (and other browser) users who only know the very basics; selecting and right clicking (or rtfming for that matter) may never occur to them. Sorry, I've been busy so I've only had a very quick glance at it. It looks interesting but I don't want to give you a quick throwaway answer, I want to have a closer look at it, and give you a proper informed reply when I've had a chance to check it out in more detail. Btw, I seem to be something of a thread killer. it's possible that for whatever reason people are not interested in your thread, but I must also appraise you of the sad fact that whenever I post, threads die. Don't really know why, perhaps I rub people up the wrong way. I once considered starting a thread about it but fortunately before I embarked upon it I realised both the futility of such a gesture, and that I failed to give the requisite number of fucks.
