Cats are wonderful animals, but I LOVE dogs! I have 3 of them and they are the best things that ever came into my life!

Cats are more independent and seem to be less maintenence. Dogs really require more attention. I get pissed when I see dogs tied up alone in a back yard. Dogs are not lawn ornaments!!!

All 3 of our dogs sit on the couch with us, sleep in bed with us, watch TV with us, hang out with us when we eat dinner. You name it. For thanksgiving we make them their own plate of food (shhh dont tell the vet! lol). In the summer we take them for icecream down at dairy queen (if theyre good).

Since I moved out again I only get to see them a couple times a week but I hug the hell out of them when I stop home.

My parents are getting older, and me my sister and brother dont exactly get along. The dogs are awesome companions and really keep my parents on their feet. Also, if they werent around im sure my sister and brother and i would be arguing more instead of playing with the dogs. So they can also bring alot of peace to a household.

Go adopt a dog from the pound!!!

I love kitties!! They are quiet and cuddly!

The only dog I like is a Yorkshire Terrier,

other than that I cant stand dogs!

I prefer dogs... dogs actually like you, whereas cats wouldn't mind if you died a cruel death as long as the Tender Vittles kept coming.

I like both cats and dogs. But if I had a cat, they would eat all of my cat food, and I don't know how open I am to sharing my 9 lives!

Both, but I prefer cats because they are easier to care for.

Wild cats - YES.

Domestic cats - suck eggs.

Dogs are more fun, can do more for and with you (protect you, jog with you, fetch things, have more playful personalities, guard your valuables...)

The Police don't have guard cats, they have GUARD DOGS.

Blind people don't have cats to help them cross the street, they have DOGS to help guide them.

Some dogs are so damn smart, they can alert people when someone will have a seizure soon - no lie. They have dogs specifically for this. Researchers think there is some type of chemical emitted from the person who will have the seizure that the dog senses beforehand.

I remember a dog not too long ago that alerted his owner when the owner's baby was choking. Fortunately, the baby didn't die and got help in time. All because the dog knew something was wrong and got the infant's mother to find out what was going on with the baby. This was on CNN sometime last year.

They're better companions than cats, doctors say they help people relieve stress (I believe it), they show you da luv, they do more than eat and sleep, and therefore they are WORTH you showing them da luv. *
