Where is Your Favorite Vacation Spot?

When you go on vacation to get away from it all, is there one place that you prefer to go to, or do you go to a different place each time? What was your favorite vacation spot and why?
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I go a different place each time. I like to keep exploring. The best so far has been Greece. (Athens, Mykonos, Delos) Greece was WAY beyond my expectations as far as culture, art, food and beauty.

REDFEATHERS

The most wonderful place I stayed was Danang, Vietnam..the hotel was out of this world, it was sat right on the beach, palm trees, hot sun, beautiful pools, people and food..

You could really imagine that place is Paradise

I always wanna see more, so I rarely visit anywhere twice, but I absolutely love New Orleans. I've been there twice and really, really need to visit again soon. My other favorite place in the world is Florence, Italy. I'm hoping I'll make it back there some day too.

Heavenly

As a kid I used to go to the dead sea and fall asleep floating on the water.

Now I just sleep in bed biggrin

I pretty much dont get much time to vacation

but every summer me and some friends

go to a day spa in Palm Springs for the day.

Most of the day we lay out by the pool

and then we go get pampered! Being a

single mama it is the best get away!

A great place to go on vacation (and my favorite place) is Siesta Key, Florida (near Sarasota, not in the Florida Keys as so many people think - lol!). There is a beautiful wide open beach that has very nice sand that never gets hot, no matter how hot the temperature gets. There is plenty of swimming, boating, parasailing (ya gotta try parasailing, it's a blast), jet skis, and kite flying to keep you interested.

Siesta Key is a great place to go on vacation, your honeymoon, or to just get away for a little while. I highly recommend it, since Siesta Key was voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world! biggrin

I am not far from there..., often on my trips to/from California, I drive through Palm Springs. smile I love driving through the power control windmills. heart And a very special place located near Banning, CA. is Idyllwild... this lovely/isolated heaven is truly a world of it's own. pray An excellent getaway from life business and only a short distance away. rose

Other places dear to my heart... Canada heart, the Mountains (Rockies) are so Majestic and Spiritual, Lake Louise is absolutely breathtaking. pray

And one more favorite..., Glen Ellen/Sonoma California. The seemingly never-ending vineyards, rolling hills and winery's are simply beautiful... and tasty. martini smile

All these lovely places have something in common...

Beautiful Solitude (free of populated chaos)
peace heart
