Doctor Strange is HERE! Here's your first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Marvel superhero Doctor StrangeThis week's cover of Entertainment Weekly offers an extremely early glimpse of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange for the Marvel film due out November 4, 2016. According to EW, principal photography for the film only began in November and the photo for the cover was taken during one of Cumberbatch's first times wearing the costume. He told EW he is still learning about his former-doctor-turned-sorcerer character and how to pose as if he is casting spells. "Doctor Strange" will also star Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Mads Mikkelsen. The issue will be on newsstands Tuesday.

I only heard of Dr. Strange a few months ago when Disney held that big event announcing the release date for all the Marvel movies so I don't know what to expect from this. But I've liked all the MCU movies up til now (with the exception of guardians) so I'm looking forward to this.

I hope he does a better Dr. Strange than he did as Khan

He looks a bit too young to play Dr.Strange. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I remember when Dr. Strange was 25 cents...

They already made one in 1978. Not known by many fans but Stan Lee himself said he really liked this movie. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Well I've heard the name before but honestly if someone randomly asked me that on the street I'd swear it was from the James Bond universe. It's getting so confusing. Superhero overload. With so many, i want a superpower now.

It is. The footage from Batman Begins was a dead giveaway!
I'm looking forward to this one. I've always loved this character, as he had some of the most off-the-wall, flat-out weird stories in all of comics! So I guess the Dread Dormammu will be the bad guy?

I watched it last year. It has an interesting horror movie atmosphere at the beginning but soon spirals into nonsense, not that great a movie. Not for anyone but hardcore Marvel fans with an interest in Marvel movies history. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Supposedly it'll be different because it's probably gonna be darker (they promised a more horror movie-like tone and the director comes from that genre), and also magic oriented (a first in the MCU). I love all MCU movies and most of the TV stuff as well, but I found that Guardians and Ant-Man were a little too comedic. It's nice to have some of that, too, but I'm glad that most of the next batch sound like they're gonna be more dramatic. I strongly advise you watch the TV series Daredevil and Jessica Jones, they have totally adult-oriented take and are really remarkable works of fiction. Yeah, I agree 100% with you about Guardians and Ant-Man being too comedic. I don't have a problem with them lightening the mood but at times the humour just felt very forced. Esepcially the cringe worthy dance off scene in Guardians. I've seen Daredevil and Jessica Jones and I'm really looking forward to season 2 of Daredevil. I hope they eventually add him and Wilson Fisk to the Avengers movies.

I think Mordo is either the primary villain, or he's in league with Dormammu. Either could work for me. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
