An excuse to replay a whole lot of shitty films. I will say I feel Friday the 13th is underrated. It is scary and the Mrs. Vorhees slant is neato. It is cheesy, but many horror films are.

Look for Evil Dead 2. That is one great film. Very funny too.

The first 2 movies are great but the rest are very shitty (like Busta Ryhmes and Tara Banks were in the later ones barf how lame) I like the Friday the 13th movies but only the first 4.

That was ridiculous that he, of all people, survived. I was actually hollering and rooting for Michael Myers to kill him. evillol

Halloween was some crazy-ass shit 37 years ago the shit still crazy...

Tommy: "Laurie, what's the boogeyman?

Laurie: "It was the boogeyman..."

damn straight.... lol

Don't ge me started on... eek shake

"A Nightmare on Elm Street 2".... I still don't watch that movie alone... which means my man is a punching bag for little over an hour.

I didn't even watch any of those movies because I knew they wouldn't scare me because it's impossible for someone to have hands made of knives. lol "Halloween" scares the hell out of me though because it's entirely possible for a mental patient to escape a mental institute and go on a killing spree. Even to this very day, when my grown ass watches it, the rest of the night I'm as jumpy as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs every time I hear even the slightest noise such as the air conditioner coming on. lol

The Halloween series is my favorite horror franchise .I own the $100 bluray box set that was released last year that had all the films plus the TV versions and the halloween 6 producers cut .The box set is my pride and joy . I love all the films except part 3 .Although they are not as scary to me now maybe its because I've seen them so many times .I was watching the first one when I was just 8 years old on a big screen TV at a rent a center store where my dad worked at the time .Plus I've seen the last 4 parts in the theatre and saw Halloween h20 while being the only one in the theatre that was sitting in the FRONT ROW ! So I saw Michael myers head get decapitated up close ! Also when I was a kid I lived next door to my aunt and I would go to her house on Monday nights to watch wrestling and I would always have to get her or my uncle to watch me go home .My uncle knew of my fear of Michael myers so he would say "u better run home or watch out for Michael myers out there "! I ran home as fast as possible every time

Own it ...

I have been studying the original for yrs and yrs

I have created a samanic psychological " class " based on this movie ...

It's a profound reflection on our Shadow Side

We all have one and when denied it will chase us and you can never kill it off

It's a brilliant movie !

~ Same as it ever was ...

I remember watching Halloween 5 in the theaters. Once the movie ended and the credits started to roll everybody started to boo, one guy yelled out he wanted his money back. Halloween 1 & 2 are great. Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, not really a Michael Myers movie, ok in it's own way, I don't consider it apart of the series. Halloween 4 is ok, comes in third. Halloween 5 horrible. Halloween 6 the curse of Michael Myers boring. Halloween H20 Jamie Lee Curtis is back, better than parts 5 & 6 but still a stinker. Josh Hartnett is also in the movie and is very boring and a lame character in the movie. The worse of them all Halloween:Resurrection, they ruined the only good part of Halloween H20 when Lori cuts off Michael Myers head. From what I remember some genius writer for Resurrection wrote so that was not Michael Myers but the Ambulance driver (wow...lame) Let's not forget about a really lame cast with Busta Ryhmes confuse and Tyra Banks hrmph the whole "internet theme" was lame . But just when you think it couldn't get any worse Rob Zombie acts like some fucking creative genius by remaking Halloween 1 & 2. Sorry Rob your music sucks and so did your take on the Halloween movies.

Rob zombie did a good job with part one remake. It was entertaining and the Gore was awesome .Plus it made a lot of money .. My only problem with the movie is that the actors cuss and use the F word in almost every line. Also the mask was a lot scarier and Michael myers was more intimidating .I mean he's a 7 foot tall killer chasing after u

Well it made alot of money because fans of the original movie were interested in seeing it (and many were disappointed with it). The whole back story of young Michael Myers growing up in a family only Quentin Tarantino could of come up with was lame. Making him 7 feet tall was cheesy and felt more like a comic book character, hey what next having Michael Myers with his shirt off showing his six pack. Horrible remake and unnecessary.
