New footage of Waco biker thugs leaks

I am still wondering what the fight was about in the first place. I have a hard time believing that grown men were fighting over who gets to wear a patch on their jacket. disbelief

Hell, nobody's even allowed to discuss this case. This footage was leaked and now they are turning every rock over trying to find out who leaked it.

I think the patch on a jacket explanation for this massacre is only the tip of a big 'ol iceberg.

We've discussed it ad naseum on P&R.

And to this day, there has been no retaliation against law enforcement, no use of stolen military weapons, and no continuation of the gun battle between the two groups. Apparently, the patch WAS the entire iceberg.

It was horrible but one-off situation, in which the police completely over-reacted (as did a few others, LOL).

ALL of them went to jail, and were held there for months whether they were involved in the altercation or not.

Here is the list of bikers that were jailed, along with their bond amounts:

Going to jail for a few months and posting bail charged on shooting and assault... not attempted murder, and the DA is being blamed for lock ups? Pfft... wild west law enforcement.

Figures this was posted by one of the usual race baiting suspects who live in the P&R forum. She couldn't contain herself and had to spread the news over in this forum. Go figure.

This is a regular news story that contains new information in spite of a gag order being in place....that's why I posted it here.

There was no reason for it to be in P&R since there's nothing of a religious, political, historical or racial nature in the story.

I'm only going to warn you once not to derail this thread with your venom. You will get reported if you post one more unprovoked attack on myself or anyone else.

I am not the topic, either comment on the topic or leave the thread.

When I say no one is allowed to discuss the case I am speaking of the gag order that is in place.

I disagree. Innocent, non-involved people were locked up for months. They lost their jobs, maybe even their homes. They definitely lost their reputations and perhaps their ability to find new jobs.

I agree in that it was "wild west law enforcement" but from the standpoint the police and district attorney acted like they were Wyatt Earp or something.

I'm curious - are you saying everyone there should have been charged with attempted murder?

Most of the charges state assault.. and anyone with a gun that was fired, yes, because 9 people died. Now how all that gets sorted in all that chaos is anyone's guess. But IMO if you are toting guns, rolling in a motorcycle gang, you are in a gun fight, heck, then you choose to make your job/home/life expendable, over a freggin patch on a jacket. SMH

This is an on going issue in that community also, fights have occured before and I suspect more fights may follow. The loss of life in this matter is no different than any other gang related shooting, and people do not worry about the jobs those men have, or homes they keep. Why are these guys homes/jobs anymore precious then say those in the Crips or Bloods?

Texas has a concealed carry law, so it's possible that many who had guns there had them legally. Now, firing the gun would be a crime of course, but from the bond amounts it's obvious that the vast majority of bikers either had no weapon, or used any weapon. Most of the bikers you see in the video aren't assaulting anyone - they're on the ground, trying not to get shot.

In the aftermath of this, we saw all kinds of predictions about retaliation against law enforcement/the other gangs. We saw claims that the gangs had possession of stolen military weapons and were going to go on a rampage with them. We saw all kinds of hysteria, and guess what?

Absolutely none of it came true.
