How'd everything with the dealership go? Do you finally have your car back? i never left my car there... i left it long enough for them to dianose the problem and then i took that thing home... i don't trust the hillbillies at the dealership... anyway, i called again today and asked to talk to the head of the service department and i bitched and bitched and bitched... so he asked for a description of the guy i was dealing with, and that guy should be getting reamed pretty soon... :LOL:... he said he thinks it may be the power window motor and he'll have one in about 3 days... and then it should only take 2 hours to get the car fixed up... i still think it's the switch, but it doesn't matter... i only pay the deductible once (which is $100)... if the motor doesn't fix the problem, then they have to go in and replace the switches, but since i'll already have met my deductible, that'll be free... the wierd thing is, the damn window started working again last night... i was on the way to a buddy's house and i went to roll the passenger window down and hit the switch for the driver's side window instead and the damn thing started rolling down...  ... so i don't know... i think my car might be a little retarded...hahaha!!! so part of me is saying that i shouldn't worry about it, because it's working again... then the other part of me is saying "well, what happens if the next time it breaks, it decides to break when it's down instead of up"...? so i don't know what i'm gonna do... but i'm sure the hillbillies at the dealership will look at me like i'm crazy when i take my car in to get the window fixed and the window is working...  ... i'm actually pretty optimistic about it... the manger seemed to be pretty pissed that the other guys had jerked me around and pissed me off... he told me that i would be getting a call on thursday or friday, regardless of whether the part is in or not... so, i'm happy now... i think this guy is gonna get stuff taken care of... i'm just partially jaded from the whole experience, i think... Do you finally have your car back? i never left my car there... i left it long enough for them to dianose the problem and then i took that thing home... i don't trust the hillbillies at the dealership... anyway, i called again today and asked to talk to the head of the service department and i bitched and bitched and bitched... so he asked for a description of the guy i was dealing with, and that guy should be getting reamed pretty soon... :LOL:... he said he thinks it may be the power window motor and he'll have one in about 3 days... and then it should only take 2 hours to get the car fixed up... i still think it's the switch, but it doesn't matter... i only pay the deductible once (which is $100)... if the motor doesn't fix the problem, then they have to go in and replace the switches, but since i'll already have met my deductible, that'll be free... the wierd thing is, the damn window started working again last night... i was on the way to a buddy's house and i went to roll the passenger window down and hit the switch for the driver's side window instead and the damn thing started rolling down... ... so i don't know... i think my car might be a little retarded...hahaha!!! so part of me is saying that i shouldn't worry about it, because it's working again... then the other part of me is saying "well, what happens if the next time it breaks, it decides to break when it's down instead of up"...? so i don't know what i'm gonna do... but i'm sure the hillbillies at the dealership will look at me like i'm crazy when i take my car in to get the window fixed and the window is working... ...yeah, that would really suck ass. I guess just tell them what's happened even if it is working. that SO sounds like my luck! that's what i'm gonna do... i just have this creepy feeling that i'm gonna drop the car off, and they're just sit there chewing tabacco, looking at pictures of goats, and not working on the car... then, they'll call me and tell me it's done... i'll pay the $100 and won't know that nothing was ever replaced, since it's working again and all... then again, as long as my window doesn't go out again, i really don't care at this point... :LOL:... i think watching "deliverance" made me paranoid... i always assume that country folk are gonna rip my city ass off and then try to rape me in the woods... ... i wish i had never seen that movie... i gotta get back to the city... aw, man, don't think like that! everything will work out!
i'm actually pretty optimistic about it... the manger seemed to be pretty pissed that the other guys had jerked me around and pissed me off... he told me that i would be getting a call on thursday or friday, regardless of whether the part is in or not... so, i'm happy now... i think this guy is gonna get stuff taken care of... i'm just partially jaded from the whole experience, i think... YES!
exactly. hopefully they'll make sure not to jerk you around anymore. 'cause they'll get an ass-whoopin'. and i'll roll up in there wit my posse and lay the smack down on every single one of those punk-ass hillbillies... we'll try to catch 'em by surprise though... some of those guys are pretty damn big... like they workout by bench-pressing tractors or something... maybe we'll bring weapons...
