Ad Blocking on iPhones YAY! Well, no more ads.
Apple now allows you to install ad blockers, so I downloaded Crystal from the app store as soon as it became available, which is free for a limited time to early adopters and it works great so far.
I feel bad for some sites as I know they depend on advertising to earn a living and keep their sites online, but damn ads have gotten out of hand. If ads were not so intrusive, i wouldn't need to resort to ad blocking. But a lot of ads use really slimy tactics.
For every action there is a reaction, so it will be interesting how web sites and advertisers respond. |
