XxAxX said: i don't see why we have to wait until october 15th for the new season 6. let's take up a collection for an early release! let's storm the gates of the set! there has to be something we can do to get season 6 right now I think previous seasons started very close to Halloween, so they're giving us a break now.

Shes beautiful, it's a great serie but i got a doubt in my head, in the first episode a girl a zombie little girl pick up a bear toy, how about that, they are supposed to not have any kind of habbilities or intelligence.

Yep even the Terminus people mentioned she was pretty, and that they've found pretty people tasted better lol . Right, there are some things that didn't make sense.

Not to ruin the mythology or anybody's enjoyment. And forgive me I'm a horror with names so I won't be using them. One of the first people who had a hand in the earlier episodes of TWD made creative decisions that others decided later on they didn't agree with so that's why the walkers are different now because that person is no longer with the project. Fans have explained it away to make it cohesive. So just roll with it, it's not really set in stone.

ok, i get it thanks for explaining it to me

ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I'm watching season 1 again and I guess it could have been a cool concept, that the walkers early in the turn still had a touch of familiarity. Like when this guys wife came to the door of the house she lived/died in

but not the use of Rocks to break glass by walkers

"They" keep posting pictures of the little girl zombie who picked up the teddy bear in the first episodes. She's all grown up now, very cute young lady. I guess it would have interfered with The Governor's experiment storyline if the zombies, at least when they first turned, had even the slightest coherent thought, he'd of been a bigger maniac, if that's possible.

Just finished watching Season 1 again
It is interesting watching the episodes where they believe they have a safe place and how it falls apart In season 1 they had 2 spots the first was the high hill next to the huge blue pond. That was almost perfect. Anything/anyone who came had to come uphill they were next to a large body of water with a small boat and fish in the water.
the other spot which would have been the most secure was the CDC, reading area, workout area, clean rooms to sleep, hot water/shower, food, secure building that no one or nothing would have been able to get into

YES! This is such a breath of fresh air compared to the boring "Fear the Walking Dead". I love this version of Rick!!!! Bad ass and don't give a f**k!!!! At first, I wasn't too sure if I was going to like back and forth of the black and white flashbacks to the present shown in color, but it turned out great. That Carter guy was just asking to get bit, and when he finally did, I actually laughed out loud. It's funny how in every season one of the main characters has their "dark side" when it seems like they are reckless and going into the deep end mentally. The 2nd season was Shane, the 3rd season was Glenn (I think????) and Rick, 4th season was Carol (look at the flowers), last season it was Sasha, this season it looks like it's going to be Abraham. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

great episode. i'm thinking next week will be pretty tense as well

That black and white was an awesome technique. How Morgan pegged Carol. The conversations between Morgan and Rick. The chemistry of everybody. OK, are we seeing a couple, make that 3, possible hook ups? And to end it with all that hard work blown. I'm so anticipating the next episode. But I'm dreading the heartbreaks that are coming. Don't know who but at this point with the exception of maybe a couple people its going to be gut wrenching no matter who.

anyone know what happened to carl, if anything? (see below) . from: http://www.cnn.com/2015/1...index.html . . . . Say this about The Walking Dead -- there's an excitement to the notion of survival, even when it's played out in repetitive ways. That is especially true in this episode, which aims to go very big before some of the players go home. And while everyone from the original group is ostensibly here to filter out a season's worth of life-and-death storylines (surviving or dying being the crux of most of what happens on The Walking Dead), there are two intriguing mysteries in the expanded premiere: Carl (Chandler Riggs) is missing and never even mentioned, plus when the story alludes to a major loss, though the identity is a mystery. . . .

Wasn't that Carl sitting with that girl, touching hands, while that guy in the distance was standing there watching them?

i wasn't aware of carl's absence. wish i could re-watch the pilot with this question of carl in mind. i can't believe the writers would mess with carl's character by killing him off or some such.... . more mentions of carl's absence: . from: http://news.yahoo.com/wal...NlYwNzYw-- . There was NO Carl in this episode! COOOOORALLLLL! Where was he? And did you miss him? . and . from: http://www.nytimes.com/20...mp;emc=rss . The 13 remaining members of Rick’s band of survivors are safe with the Alexandrians, though one of them shows signs of cracking up and another, Rick’s son, Carl, is mysteriously absent from the episode. (Perhaps the young actor who plays him, Chandler Riggs, was unavailable, but devout “Walking Dead” fans will want to know where he is. And if their count of the survivors matches mine, they will wonder why the obsessive Eugene says there are only 12. My guess: He’s not counting Father Gabriel. And neither of us is counting baby Judith.) [Edited 10/12/15 10:39am]

I understand in the comics he was very badly wounded and disfigured. In this show everybody but Rick is up for grabs, and I'm not one hundred sure about Rick, his character is warping ever so slightly.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
. warping? he's going all PTSD on things. jumped the shark, gone round the bend, kicked the crazy can and trippped the lightfannuthouse along the way. i think rick and morgan will end up opposed at the end, as they were in the beginning, maybe.
back to carl: . from: http://hollywoodlife.com/...-spoilers/ . 5.) What’s Going On With Carl?. If you’re a big fan of Carl — ahem, I mean Coral, obviously — don’t get your hopes up to see Sheriff Jr. kicking butt and taking names in the premiere episode. Although Carl is present in some scenes, he takes a serious back seat to what’s really going on with the rest of Alexandria. However, there is a very brief moment in which we find out that he may have not one, but TWO very interesting storyline arch’s in season six. And yes, one of those is with a girl.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I was being generous. We've seen Rick go full blown crazy before, I think we're use to it, can't blame him really. Be he mad as a hatter we love him.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
. it would be a fun interesting writing job to take the characters one by one into madness. like, for example killing maggie would unhinge glen the way sasha has been destablized through the loss of tyreese/bob/noah. the show really could end on a completely dark note.... . i hate seeing the characters die. and even though last night's pilot introduced some potentially juicy new people, part of me is cynically waiting to see how long until they go boom and die.

did anyone enter the sweepstakes? Take Chances??????
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I think that's what they're doing, we see Abraham having a moment or 2, he even knows he's losing it a bit. Sasha did her thing and came through, I think Michonne was in hers when she met the group, it was the group that brought her back. Carl's a kid so he's resilient and adaptable. Glenn and Maggie have had each other so they're anchored for right now, I think this season that changes they have been seeming distant. Carol has gone loopy from heartbreak but her original life was crazy so her pendaluum didn't swing too far, same with Daryl he came from crazy so he's far more resilient just another day in paradise for him.
Okay you lost me. What do you mean?
