Yeah I saw that with the 49ers playing the other night. Does every team in the NFL want to have black jerseys now? Leave the black to the Raiders and Steelers. Don't laugh at my funk

I couldn't stand the 49'er's black unis. Ugh. Boring, IMO. Were they throw-backs?
And what the hell is the deal with throw-back jersies? They were cool 10 years ago. Most of them are ugly as all get-out. The Steelers' are the worst. How can you look like a f***ing bumblebee and instill fear in the hearts of your opponents? "Look out, we're going to sting you! Buzz buzz buzz buzz!!!"
It's all just a shameless money grab, and it turns me off. I like college football so much more than today's NFL.
At least the Texans are still so new that they don't have a throw-back jersey.
Oh yeah as though the Oregon Ducks don't have 1000 different uniform combinations. Quack
Quack. College is actually worse. Now most schools have alternate jerseys for game day
occasions. Did you see MSU last week and Vanderbilt with the Anchors Away unis? Don't laugh at my funk

best black uniforms:
1. 70's Pittsburgh Steelers (before they changed the number font) 2. Oakland Raiders 3. New Orleans Saints 4. Cincinnati Bengals (black pants w/black jersey) 5. 49ers new alternate joints 6. Chicago Bears (w/orange numbers and sleeve stripes)
eagles are cardinals need to not wear the black jerseys...if the 49ers wore a black or red helmet with the black uniforms, theyd be #1 |

I forgot about the Saints and Bengals. I actually liked the Bengals Isaac Curtis era 70's
uniforms with the black jersey and white pants better than those flag football jerseys they wear
now. I like the Cardinals black jerseys too but Philly, Baltimore(ugly ass black jerseys), and
SF needs to let it go. [Edited 9/19/15 11:18am] Don't laugh at my funk

Actually, the Bears alternate uniform you're talking about is navy blue and not black, but I like it.
But my Bears are f****d! Granted, most Bears fans have pretty low expectations for this season, and I believe most of the players on this team are playing for their jobs, as I expect John Fox to fully implement his own program and ultimately bring in his own personnel to execute it. So unless the Bears miraculously make it to the NFC Championship game this season, expect a lot of players not to be with the franchise next year. Based on what I saw today, that may be a foregone conclusion.
But guess who else are f****d; the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys are turning into a M*A*S*H unit, losing Dez Bryant for at least half the season and now losing Tony Romo today with a fractured collarbone. At least Dallas has an excuse for sucking in the future. The Eagles, on the other hand, are stinking up the joint, and this is the team that Chip Kelly wanted in the first place. If they don't turn things around quickly, then expect to see Chip Kelly back on some college sideline next year.

The Steelers played a great game today especially on defense until they got a
little sloppy in the 4th quarter. Ryan Shazier was a beast on defense and was all
over the field. I know they won't play this way every game this season but hopefully
they can be consistent throughout the season and make a run in the postseason.
Secondary still needs work. The offense was sensational. They electrocuted the 49ers defense.

Saw a wild Cubs game while keeping up with the Bears via th guys sitting next to me.
You would have thought this was the Bears year in the league. Needless to say it was all Cutler's falt. I hope Culter's out for weeks. Fans should resign themselves.... this is a washed up season and th Bears will get some picks in next years draft. Go Pitt!

Yeah a little sloppy in the 4th. Not sure if they were trying to take time off the clock or not. Steelers weakest area is Josh Scobee, maybe the Steelers should just 2 point conversions until Suisham returns. |

I'm not a Cutler fan either but this game here Cutler didn't play on
the defensive side. Arizona did what they wanted to do on offense.
I realize Cutler's shortcomings and his untimely int's but the Bears
defense was pathetic this week. Don't laugh at my funk

Oh the defense stunk up the place... for sure.
Even so, the Bears aren't going to when nada with the guy as QB. Interception say, Culter ! For whatever reason Cutler doesn't have the capacity to go the the second options or 3rd options. He thinks he's a thread the needle
QB, he isn't. Its going to be a long season... if he misses the greater part of the season, fine. Bears need to cut there loses and keep it moving. GO CUBS. |

I have no idea what it's gonna take for them to have a competitive team again.
