too young, too random-looking

and yet another FUCKIN' superhero movie , with the same overblown effects, the same camera angles, the same faceless soundtrack, ugh

It does look awful. This misses the tone of the comic entirely for no good reason. Why does it look so dark? The Fantastic Four was fun & lighthearted. The previous two films were right in tone, just sloppy in execution. Think Ewan MacGregor in Down with Love, but stretchable.

More telling of what a mess this production was is that its director, Josh Trank, was pulled from directing the Boba Fett Star Wars film, because he was so awful behind the scenes on this.

This. The movie is a travesty to cannon. I know the previous films had a lot of faults, but they were well-cast, and unlike a lot of the other movies based on the comics - I think they were marketed to a familial demographic.

And if you're going to completely re-boot, why compromise Doom along the way? It looks like they're doing this cross-dimensional thing; give us Annihilus or something new.

Is it just me or has the hype for the new Avengers movie already faded?

It's all about "Pitch Perfect 2" now.

I saw the trailer when I watched Mad Max-Fury Road, and it left me unimpressed.

What´s the point in doing another Fantastic Four movie when we just got used to the last incarnation of the Fantastic Four?

This one looks way too dark, the actors don´t look memorable, and constantly coming up with reboots with a slightly different origin story does not really help matters.

I don't want to piss anyone off, but I hope those superhero movies really tank at the box office. Some of them might be worth seeing but all those upcoming movies are mostly just a way to make money. Always the same storylines, same effect, fights, blabla... Total overkill.
