Adam Sandler may actually do a good film.

A bear shits in the woods and Adam Sandler may actually do a film that makes me not want to punch an old lady or kill a puppy. The Cobbler:

Surprised nobody ever thought of this kinda plot.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Funny, for some reason I never saw that one. I will have to look for it.

I did think Just Go With It, Grownups, and Chuck & Larry were okay. That's My Boy was pretty good too.

He's done a lot of movies!

He seems to have very good screen chemistry with Drew Barrymore. I've enjoyed enough I'd take a chance on his moviesbb.

"Blended" was actually very good.

In the same vein, it's ironic that Seth Rogen finally did a movie that looks to be semi-humorous and it gets pulled because of terrorism.

Seth Rogen is not funny (likeable, but just not funny), but the previews for "The Interview" were funny and I held out hope that he'd finally figured out a way to make me laugh. I guess it's just not to be, LOL.

Sandler was also good in Funny People, which is one of his better movies as well.

don't let mr. sandler's occasional goofball side fool you. i misjudged him early on but recently i've seen stuff he's done that's brilliant. same thing happened for my appreciation of chris rock, but that's another story. anyway, sandler's extremely talented and a deep thinker. imo

I agree, and I think he did a great job of showing his non-goofball side in 50 First Dates and the 2nd half of Click.

Has Sandler ever done an all-serious movie like Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine? If he hasn't, I think he could pull it off.

He also did The Majestic. I was expecting him to laugh in one point in the movie, but that's just me thinking...

I absolutely loved 50 First Dates from start to finish, probably my favorite Sandler movie. Still get emotional when I watch the ending.

Wedding Singer was funniest, but 50 First Dates was the best.

He should play Bob Dylan... He certainly has a striking resemblance to him...

Adam Sandler was also good in the Dramedy "Reign over me"..The flick also featured Don Cheadle And Jada Pinket Smith...Adam and Don should have gotten Oscar Nods...

Since you brought it up, I still havent seen Cate Blanchett's Oscar Nominated performance as Bob Dylan in the flick "I'm not there"...I hear she did a good job and was so-so looking in "Man-drag"..
