You raise a good point.

How come women can't just take off their blouse if they are at the park to get some sun or throw a frisbee? How come they can't drive around shirtless, like you see guys doing in the summer?

And as for man boobs, how can you avoid getting them - and if you do, how do you get rid of them?

The ample breast might also be an indicator to the male that the female would be an optimal food source to any potential offspring.

This trait wouldn't have been of the same importance to females. Rather, the ideal male would display a certain muscle tone and/or hair pattern suggesting virility.

Isn't a cultural thing? I mean, there are cultures where women show the breasts all the time and i don't think those men get horny all the time.

By hiding it all the time it also gets exciting. Do men actually get excited all the time at the sauna or the beach? They see nude breasts all the time, but i doubt they walk around with an erection all the time.

Could it simply be because women's breasts have the purpose of lactating in order to nourish their newborns? Maybe men never "outgrow" their source of fresh milk?

Society is more tolerant of naked veejayjays than they are of naked cocks. That's why movies with full frontal female nudity gets R-rated but full-frontal male nudity gets X-rated.
