Osiris himself says, in The Book of Coming Out by Day: "The tunnels of the Earth gave me birth."

to the extent that you are truly offended, i do apologize. but from my point of view, i'm not being defensive so much as i am feeling impatience with your approach.

to whit, i've listed reading material you can make use of to answer your own questions, therefore, why would you expect or even want ME to answer your questions? isn't that somewhat like a child holding a math textbook but refusing to open the book while still asking what 2 + 2 is?

yes, it;s quite possible that i am rude, abrupt and not polished enough when it comes to interacting like this. sigh please understand that i do value your input, you are a bright guy and usually have interesting opinions to offer.

i guess on this particular thread, i am looking for a discussion from those who might already have ideas about this topic, and who might have already studied the subject matter at least a little bit. (Graycap where did you go?) because i am not seeking to prove anything, and i'd rather talk about what is already known, in the hope that someone else knows more about it.

at this point in human civilization's 'scientific development' we only understand 4% of the universe, and that leaves 96% we cannot explain and don't understand. what if the old legends are actually true?? wouldn't that be super cool?

the hollow earth theory is divergent; some think there are other dimensions co-existing around and right through us (dark energy/dark matter) that there is an eternal space-time continuum where 'time' as we think of it does not exist. what little humankind currently knows of quantum physics seems to support some of these strange ideas.

there are still vast, unexplored regions of planet earth containing things we don't know much about like, for example the huge bodies of water deep within the earth's crust that have been so recently discovered. http://www.thewire.com/gl...ir/359108/ clearly, we don't even know what's down there yet.

anyway, if you DO happen to read the source material and find that you simply disagree with it all and think the whole notion is simply totally whack, that's okay. (an advanced race of technologically superior beings living in the hollow earth?) we can agree to disagree, and the world is a more interesting place for it. you would not be the first person to have some doubts about this particular topic. smile it is pretty far out, after all.

then again, the catholic church most interestingly has recently asserted that it is not unlikely that there are other intelligent beings in our universe. i find this intriguing, especially when we remember how long it took the church to forgive copernicus and galileo for their radical idea that the earth might not be central to the solar system.... hmm

again, i apologize for my rude shortcomings, if i had a lot of time i would link to each specific article and journal; i am not a very patient person, this is clearly something i need to work on. a lot.

I think that our current ideas about life and earth will be challenged and change in the future.

Only recently data has been gathered that fit the theory of the existence of multiple universes and the inflation after the big bang. And then the ocean beneath the earth crust!

So, as our technology advances, so are the data and findings to confirm or reject theories about existence.

I'm a big supporter of discussing all kind of theories. Preferrably with people who agree and who don't agree with eachother.

Because these people will generate valid arguments and new questions that need to be anwered in order to dismiss or accept a theory.

The fact that there is similarity among ancient tales from different geograpgical areas, is interesting, but not pivotal prove.

There are as much citings from the bible that confirm some theory as there are citings that contradict it. The biblical sagas are interesting and worthwhile investigating, however, can never been argumented as proof in itself.

Puzzling is great fun.

The holes in the earth can be measured if we just make it a long term org project.

If we take turns and go to the holes you have cited, we can hang a nigh camera in there, and ad a wire until the camera hits rock bottom. We just have to keep notes on how long all the wire extensions are and add up.

It's possible and it will be fun if we do it with orgers and take turns.

Who signs up for the org-night camera-into holes-project?

Kentucky Mammoth Cave, in south-central Kentucky, US

Mount Shasta, California, US - the Agharthean city of Telos allegedly exists within and beneath this mountain.

Manaus, Brazil.

Mato Grosso, Brazil - the city of Posid supposedly lies beneath this plain.

Iguaçú Falls, border or Brazil and Argentina.

Mount Epomeo, Italy.

wave

Who lives near this one, and who has a camera?

Himalayan Mountains, Tibet - the entrance to the underground city of Shonshe is allegedly guarded by Hindu monks.

Mongolia - the underground city of Shingwa allegedly exists beneath the border of Mongolia and China.

Rama, India - beneath this surface city is a long lost subterranean city, they say, also named Rama.

Pyramid of Giza, Egypt.King Solomon's Mines.

Dero Caves,

North and South Poles.

^ let's start a page on KickStarter to gather funding for an around-the-world balloon trip.

imagine this: a great big PRINCE.ORG hot air dirigible/balloon sailing about, dangling people and cameras into caves and tunnels, researching the possibility of the hollow earth.

we could blast funky music written by prince over the caves and tunnels, luring the interior dwellers up and out, to dance with us. we'd even be picked up for a new TV series: dancing with the hollow earth folks biggrin

I think there are enough orgers near the coves, and getting night-cameras in, and cables to connect, so we can let down the camera down, should be attainable.

Authors of the research article: Orger fams

Why has nobody gathered data that confirms or dismisses the hollow eart theory?

The Dod finances social scientists to find out how to break social groups who are critical of the government (Minerva).

So, why not financing orger scientists to find out if there are inner species who are threatening the US government her control over people? I mean, we should be able to instignate some fears and if they are afraid enough, we can get millions because we are telling them that we will protect them from these dangers.

Proven to be an effective method to invade Iraq and the Ukraine.
It worked for Monsanto, to get paid milliards of subsidy for developing GMO, pretending to save the world from honger, but in reality are killing bees and sickening humans.

So, why not use the same strategy to get subsidy for this research project.

You just need some rich friends who have acces to the ruling elite of the US.

Yes.

They own all the resources to rule the world.

So, as long as people cant' grow their own food, and don't have their own solar power, these crooks will decide for us where our money and time goes.

So, why not beg them for a few coins, just to investigate something and have a good time while we are doing it.

okay. when they ask us to account for a return on their 'investment' we will direct them to the sands of the sahara desert and sadly tell them that we did not find a thing. giggle then, sneak off to our new homes in the hollow earth. neutral hmmm

You Americans sure love a juicy conspiracy theory, especially if it includes the words 'but the government'. This government-paranoia is kind of what most of your constitution is already based on, so...

No offence meant, though, and I like theories too, all kinds of theories! I just think there's a couple of big grains of salt left to take this theory with.

yes, obviously, did you realize that this thread is not about a conspriacy theory so much as it addresses historical and mythological references to the legend of hollow earth?? have you ever heard any references to hollow earth? i'm interested in collecting folklore, oral history and legends on this subject.

Yes, but all these references only hold up if we assume that the government hides groundbreaking info from us, which I can only do to a certain degree.

I don't know about legends that haven't already been mentioned here, but I have to say that the whole myth is cleverly created, so that it is almost impossible to be disproven and therefore very resistent (much like the idea that there is a god and that everything that is written in the bible is true, for instance).

this thread really isn't intended for folks to come and debate whether or not the hollow earth is conspiracy theory or not. i really don't think the government is 'hiding' anything in this regard.

for example, if you read the earlier parts of this thread, you would have seen the link to data regard the very recently discovered inner earth ocean. our government hasn't been covering that up (to the best of our knowledge) because it didn't know about the existence of the ocean before now.

so instead of derailing this thread with a discussion about conspriacy theories, and diatribes against them (which would be tired and old), i'm really only interested in discussing the ancient myths, legends and writings found all over the planet, on this subject. have you done any reading at all on this subject, including the links i've posted?

Yes, I have. But, like I said, I find it all detailed enough to fascinated people, but still vague enough to not really be interesting.

I see my role in this thread as the uninterested devil's advocate. I came to try and spoil the hollow earth party a bit and now I'm standing here contentedly watching as my plan unfolds and causes havoc and disaster among the unsuspecting hollow-earth-theorists.
