hollow earth theory has anyone here read about this idea or researched admiral richard byrd's report on this topic? the physics of the thing (earth = mostly water, rotation = hollow core) do seem to support the notion; many native american, south american, eskimo people, aztecs, incans and etc. had/have legends about this. sounds pretty weird but then again, not that loong ago theory was the earth was flat and at the center of the universe... anyone?

it's a totally wacky theory, and plenty of folks have had fun with this along the lines of conspiracy theories, but wouldn't it be weird if NASA's expedition did turn up a hollow earth?

i believe there can be a vast empty space in the earth not with a sky like above, but a subteranian light of some kind. "WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE" i am KING BAD!!!

No, have not come across this theory at all, does that match up with the movies and Jules Verne Novel " Journey to the Centre of the Earth"? off to google.. I'm thinking magma (Not volcanic-but iron/metal magma) is the center that provides for our stronger gravity. Theory only of course! 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

a lot of native american indians and south american indian legends claim this is our origin; almost every single continent on the planet has legends of the 'inner earth' people. some claim this is where the UFOs come from. allegedly, these inner earth people survived the last ice age without problem because the inside remains warm. apparently, dinosuars still live there.

not sure about the 'theory' but man can certainly make it true. Keep drilling and siphoning the very glue that holds Earth together (besides gravity) like oils, minerals, rocks etc. and I'm sure one day the term 'fracking will take on a whole new meaning. Watch as the world map, once again changes and continents and countries disconnect, separate, disappear - or IMPLODE.

My work partner was all about this. He would ramble on about it during our 1½ commute. It was lit by geothermal energy. Aliens lived there. The access was in the north pole where the U.S.'s and Google's satellite imagery ends. Most governments know about it but keep it secret. He said humans should be able/allowed to access it in 20± years.
This fool has more conspiracies than I could keep track of. I had small anxiety attacks before we met in the mornings for carpooling. Him and these crazy stories drove me nuts. He didn't care if I completely disagreed with whatever the 'conspiracy' was. He would still ramble on and on about it regardless. [Edited 5/19/14 11:05am]

Bunkers and storage has been going on since world war 1, it's rather common knowledge. The amounts and the where they do it is generally under wraps. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

what happened to all the rest i wrote it was from the twin of the space station built under the indian ocean. the fussion generator prolly imploded. the only reason to have a station under the sea is to examine somethin that's said NOT to be there i am KING BAD!!!

okay here is scripture from the Bible, which some holllow earth supporters believe evidences the theory that earth is hollow (there is more in Revelations to this effect as well)
Genesis 6: And God said "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." And God made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, and it was so.
i'm not sure this could be considered conclusive, because the 'waters above the firmament' could be taken to mean 'lakes', but lakes are an ever changing function, they come and go, depending on rainfall and millenial changes. (the sahara, for example, was once a sea bed, lush and tropical). given this impermanence, why would such a distinction be made from the get go??

I know what you meant. I didn't really mean the earth being hollow with that anyway, but that some kind of people could be living somewhere in the earth. What are they doing there? How do they develop? What would they eat? As far as I know, NOTHING could grow without sunlight. And from what I very briefly read, this admiral didn't not even say all that himself, but someone else said that he allegedly wrote a secret diary describing all that? Including a quote from the 1937 movie Lost Horizon? Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

In such a scenario, what is it that supports the earth's surface from collapsing? I would assume gravity would cause such a collapse? If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

But, what about the magnetic field that protects us from solar winds. Is that not reliant on the iron core of the solid earth model? If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!
