Anyone know Some really funky line dancing scenes from movies... Have to organise dancers for a function and they want a 2-3 minute line Dance yeehah type thing lol ... Figured someone in here will know ... Want it to be kinda modern .. Only thing I can think of is the latest footloose movie. Think there is a step up group dance thingy that may work too. Go to YouTube… Type in "World Line Dancing Championship" You'll see a bunch of videos from 1990 which are kind of grainy. There are some good examples there including one from an Atlanta dance group called Atlanta A Team or something like that… They are wearing 20's flapper outfits and that was kind of cool. Line dancing has disappeared for the most part… But there are some good examples there. There are enough examples there to do your own thing too. The basic premise of courses that everyone is doing the same steps simultaneously with a couple of standard moves. The standard moves being a leaning forward clap followed by a 90 degree turn. Need a modern day line dance that's kinda sexy and modern Well there's your problem...you want a "modern" line dance...and I have never seen a sexy one either!  That is what I meant by your dancers watching a number if them and taking bits and pieces of each...finding a song and making it their own. You add the signature moves and boom...there you go! The sexy part is tricky though...since the basic premise is a number of people dancing on their own there is no contact with one another. The sexy moves would have to be them bending at the waiste or adding a booty pop or something...I have no doubt it's possible...just have not seen it yet! Let us see it when it's all done...
