I'm trying to look up any info about it (I was in NY last week and going to galleries but that was a once every few years type trip), but even the gallery doesn't list it. Did you see it? I don't see any other photos or video anywhere.

I don't see why they can't capture real motion (like they do with 3D animations) and program them into the animatronic movement sets. It would look smooth as long as the joints are well oiled I would imagine!
