Fantasy Baseball question

I have a question. First time player, already had our draft. Looking at free agents Joe Saunders(and many others) is available with 1347 points. I have 4 releif pitchers(Chapman, Romo, Papelbon, Rosenthal). They are projected between 800-875 points for 2014. Am i better getting a weaker pitcher like Saunders who is projected higher season points or should I keep the better closers who are projected less points? I can't figure out why the relivers are ranked higher than the starters who are projected more points. Can someone help as far as which ones I should take and why?

You're playing in a different league than I'm used to, seeing as I have no idea about the "points" you're talking about...how does your league work?

Its just the 2014 projections. This is my first time playing so I don't really know. I drafted 4 relief pitchers as they were ranked higher. I lost two in injurys so far so I was looking to pick up free agents. I noticed that the free agents left are projected between 1200-1350 points each for the season. My relief pitchers(who were top ranked) are only projected to get 700-800 points for the season. It seems like I should get the scrubb pitchers getting 1300 but yet they were ranked in the 200's in the draft. I can't figure out what I am missing.

Well...I'm still not too sure about how your league works but I have learned over the years that when it comes to fantasy pitchers, just go with what you drafted and pay close attention for the first month or so of the season. That's about the time that you'll be ready to start dropping pitchers that are disappointing and picking up pitchers that are surprises. Trust me...you'll always be able to find some pitching as the season goes on.
