So my boss calls and said he's been stuck at work since yesterday and can I come in my answer is "hell no" My son got stuck in the snow last night and just left the car so now I gotta go get it He got stuck twice by just stopping behind people and Im like "damn I told you not to go to work in this weather" 20 yr olds So now I gotta go get the car-guess my Detroit history with snow is worth something after all Damn Texas drivers wont slow down for shit and when they do they get stuck

We got about 4-6 inches of snow Wednesday and Thursday, and not one thing (that I'm aware of) shut down.

They do the same here in Charlotte, shut places down. No snow so far, but amazing today, it was 76 degrees. The temperatures is supposed to drop very soon.

That's because your area knows how to work with the weather. Texas like Washington doesn't have the equipment to keep the city open when it snows big time like MPLS can.

Granted even that snow would be considered a light dusting here.

We dont even salt or gravel for a dusting... Its funny (well not "really" funny) that when we do get a lil snow alot of the cars you see stranded off the interstate are out of state tags and semis!

WHEW! i was in Amarillo for thanksgiving... and now it's 3 degrees and freezing there. Glad i came back to Cali at the right time
