Happy Thanksgiving from Cow

Hope all of you humans have a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. At least I know that none of my relatives will be on your plate tomorrow. Of course, millions of my turkey friends will be slaughtered and consumed but between you and me, turkeys are dumb as posts and have a lot of fatal accidents. Not the brightest bulbs in the animal kingdom.

Anyway, enjoy your carnivorous ways and I hope all of you vow to become begans starting Friday.

Appreciate that. It has been very busy around the barn. For example, the other day, I turned around and stared at the other side of the farm all day. Pretty mind-blowing.

meat free day for us!! low fat cheese pizza baby, with mushrooms and olives. drool

but i do have a question about this 'thanksgiving day bird' thing. i got up early, stuffed my little birdies and fed them with yummy snacks, but when it came time to dress them, they rejected their little velour track suits and flew away. what do i do?

This is a cockentrice. It is, quite literally, a pig's upper body sewn onto a turkey bottom. The recipe for it dates back to 15th-century Europe, when it was considered a delicacy.

And yes, it is more terrifying than anything you'll eat this Thanksgiving.
