Shyra...an assault involves deliberately hurting somebody...people get burned in restaurants from accidents all the time. Painted and I used to clown all the time in the kitchen...and this was the most unfortunate time that we clowned around. (and I damn near fainted when I saw her skin hanging from the bulb....) That burn was so gross that she used to chase me with it......so I didn't just feel bad....I was all grossed out and her crazy ass was getting a kick out of it. I am mentally scarred from that.......

omg Ewwww!

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I have a scar on the back of my head. I didn't even know it was there until I was getting my hair cut one day. My beautician at the time was taking a comb and lifting up my hair and just looking at my scalp. confused I said to her, "What are you doing?", and she replied, "You have a big scar on the back of your head". My mom was there too, and explained that when I was a baby and just learning to walk, I fell down a flight of stairs. I didn't even know about it until then. My mom said that they didn't take me to the hospital, because it didn't seem to be, "that bad". confused I think if I had a kid that fell down the steps, I would take them to the hospital to have them checked out, just to be sure that they are okay. But what's done is done, it can't be changed now.

There was another time I was at the playground, and a friend and I were at the top of a pole that you slide down (kind of like the pole in the "1999" video). I tried to jump onto the pole, but missed, and fell down (I think I hit my head). I passed out, and when I woke up, I saw my dad running towards me. I think these two incidents are why I have a fear of escalators that go down. It's weird because I can go up and escalator just fine, but down, I can't. Thank god for elevators. If it weren't for them, I would never be able to go shopping at a store that had more than one floor. lol

I have several scars on my abdomen from when I had surgery about 12 years ago, but they have faded away now. They are not very easy to see, unless if you were to look closely at them.

I have a scar on my knee from when I fell on the ice as a child. I actually cut the skin on my knee from a piece of ice that was sticking up. The skin on my knee was sliced, but did not come off. It healed up, although I probably could have used some stitches on it.

I have small scars on my fingers and arms from various things that have happened to me over the years (nothing serious).

Seriously....my heart was in my throat.. I couldn't believe it happened. Me and that crazy heifer were attached at the hip so would never want to hurt her. I expected maybe a red spot...at worst a bubble....but the removed skin was like something from a nightmare. Painted handled it all like a champ......the manager was freaked....and inside I was totally dying...and Painted resisted the urge to throw my ass into the fry vats.

Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

I was running on the side of a hill in a field near Painted's house. Painted wasn't home so I was staying in the area hoping she would come home soon. As I was running, a small bit of rock/soil slid from under my feet and I fell into the dense woody vegetation. When I stood up, there was a decent sized twig sticking out of my knee. I pulled the twig out and watched the blood soak my sock and shoe. The girl with me totally screamed and freaked out. I kept saying I was okay, but it didn't look okay at all. Waaaaay too much blood. The parent who was trying to clean me up was disturbed. As a result of that fall, I have a lovely keloid on my knee. and nope...no hospital. We didn't really do that back in the day (and besides...I was seriously hurting myself ALL the time because I was crazy as hell)

OMG....falling down the stairs....I would have peed myself if I witnessed that. My 2 year old niece died and she only fell off of the bottom step. Glad you survived that horrible fall. OmG

Yeah. I was playing left field in a co-ed softball game. There were two girls on base, and a big fat guy up to bat. He clobbered it and I turned and ran at top speed straight toward the fence but with my head turned, watching the ball the whole way.

I caught the ball backhanded with a full stretch on a dead run and I remember thinking, "Man, I look GREAT making this catch!" That was a split second before I hit the fence.

I fell to the ground, unconscious for a second or two. I came to, and three things happened in this order: (1) I squeezed my glove and confirmed I had the ball; (2) I heard the fat guy yell to the two girls on the bases, "He's hurt! Run! RUN!!!!!"; and (3) I tried to stand up but couldn't.

Heck, when I tried to open my eyes, all I saw was red because I'd split open my forehead, and ripped open the bottom tear duct of my right eye (that's how close I came to poking that eye out!).

So I got to my knees, threw the ball toward what I thought was home but was actually toward right field, and went back down. My first thought was I'd knocked out some teeth, so I ran my tongue around them but they were all there (one was chipped). That's when I knew I must have cut my face.

I thought I'd cut my cheek or something. I had no idea I'd opened up my forehead, and that the bottom half of my mouth was ripped off and flapping around (don't want to get too gross here).

The first guy to get to me started to ask me if I was OK but then all he could say was, "Oh, SHIT". That's when I knew I was messed up pretty good.

But that fat guy was O-U-T out!

~shuddering~ That sounds like a horrible thing to have to go through!

I guess I went into instant shock when I hit the fence, because I don't remember much pain from the actual catch and aftermath. Even lying in the hospital, I don't remember a bunch of pain. I must have looked awful though, because my mom fainted when she saw me.

Almost all the stitches dissolved on their own. A lot were inside my mouth. The only ones that had to be removed were the stitches that sewed my bottom lip together. When they took those off, THAT WAS THE WORST PAIN I HAVE EVER FELT. I cried from it. Man, did that hurt.

A big 1 in my face just above my left cheek from a visit 2 Sweden about 5 years ago.

5 motherfuckers tried 2 rob my friend (he was working there at the time) from his phone (it was 1 of the cheapest Nokias around). Stepped in between them and got lacerated instantly.

It was in the center of Goteborg. Lotsa ppl around. Hell, there was even video footage, but the police failed 2 retrieve it, so the tape got erased and the mofos never got caught!

SlickNuts

My stomach looks like I've been shot with a shotgun from a hernia surgery where they thought I had one big one. It was 5 and they cut me from the bottom of my chest to my belly button.

Almost got my leg cut off right of the knee when I was 4.

I have a bump on the bottom of my foot where I stepped on a rusty nail when I was 10. I have a couple of small keloids I have no idea exactly what they're from. Today I put an earring in a piercing I gave myself back when I was 19, it is a scar of sorts.
