Okay, that is a weird story. Good thing you were able to get a replacement and at least tell the kid off. I don't get when kids stopped being "kids" and decided to be disgusting brats who have no sense of respect or self-discipline. I blame their parents.

Hey Luv, this actually reminds me of something i saw recently.

There is this little sushi, burger, ramen place in Westwood me and my friends frequent and usually around noon it is filled with kids.

they have one of those devices that push the straws down without the wraping... this one kid who had sauce all over his hands opened up the thing and touched all the straws in there like right in front of his parents and it took then like a minute before they said anything.

I also recently saw a kid lick the floor at Subway

I've said it once. I've it twice people can't take care of there damn kids. I work at place in which people study in silence and read in silence. Mothers and Fathers bring their children in, said children throw books all over the place, against the wall, to others kids, to other people. You tell them to stop as calm and polite as you can. Before you know some poor excuse for a parent comes screaming at you saying it isnt you business to intreve with their children. I've seen kids in my work do cartwheels, scream, laugh, spit and parents just watch and say nothing!

Wouldn't be surprised if they were videotaping it and somewhere on Youtube this kid is getting thousands of hits a day.

Maybe you guys do things differently in Canada but here in the States we look for the Parents first, especially if we have a situation with a child. You're at family-friendly McDonalds. Do you realize had his Parents been there you would have made the situation worst by confronting the 13yr old?

I don't have any kids but people be ready to Fight when another adult get in their kid's Face..How would you feel if an Adult confronted your child instead of looking for you? You gotta be careful in the world we live in today.....

There are a lot of teens that hang out at this McD's without their parents. This teen was with a bunch of his friends.

Well, I wouldnt chastise a kid who might be.... a little less than smart.

However with all the fluoride in the water, vaccinations, chemicals in the food, I wouldnt be surprised if that was the cause of kids IQ today being a little less than adequate.

When I was in elementary school you could end up in the principals office and he/she could administer the strap on the palms of your hands. Two class clowns would get it on a regular basis

The strap has been outlawed/discontinued for I don't know how long.

Sometimes the parents are just as bad as the kids. I was in a department store dressing room trying on some clothes and was startled when I saw this kid peeking at me. She was on the floor of the dressing room next to me and crawled under the partition. I said, "Go away! You shouldn't do that!" Then the grandmother starts yelling at me saying some ridiculous shit about me being to blame for the child getting smacked, "She ain't doin you no harm! She got the same thing you got! I finally got tired of her and said, "Look, you stupid bat. You should know better than to allow a child to invade others privacy. Same store, same dressing room, but this time I was trying on bras when this little boy crawled under the stall and scared the shit out of me. I almost kicked him because I was so startled. Again, I yelled, "GO AWAY! GET OUT OF HERE!" He ran away crying. I left the dressing room and his gettron mama came up to me at the register and said, "Did you yell at my son? Why you do dat? He jess a baby and done know no betta. You got a prollem, you come get me!" Okay, that's when I lost it. "Are you sick?? I don't know you from Adam's house cat. You left your child unattended which is your stupidity. You best leave me the hell alone and take that lil brat with you!" She followed me out the store and waited for me to get in my car. She got in her car and followed me down the road, I guess to see where I was going so she could accost me again. I drove right to the police station. She hauled ass.

It use to be in the United States when an adult spoke to a child about their behavior they straightened up pronto. Why? Because kids feared the adult would take the time to find their parents and tell them about your behavior... that was an automatic ass wippin'. I know, child abuse. I use to live in a city that has allowed a hand full of folks to shut it down... this generation of parents are as dumb as the day is long.

I don't go looking for parents if a child is doing something they should nor be doing, I say something to them right then in there.
