Repeats of Leno have been beating originals of Kimmel in ratings this week.

So It is utter horseshit that NBC is making Jay leave when he is number one 95% of the time so that unfunny idiot Fallon can take over and lose half the audience. To all those who are celebrating Leno leaving on the comments sections: FUCK YOU! He should not have had to leave in 2009 and should not have to now, because he was and is the most watched.

I will never understand how anyone could watch, let alone like, Leno. But he does get the ratings. Which makes this whole thing even more interesting. When the last-place network desperately wants to get rid of the ONE rock-solid time period on their entire schedule, something is off. Leno must be Beezlebub. He is absolutely loathed.

Leno is hated by other comedians and most of hollywood. I don't get his appeal at all and have never enjoyed his talk show or his humor.

Kimmel I do like but I haven't watched him in years either.

I say the people who watch are more fans of NBC and The Tonight Show than Leno.

Leno got similar numbers to The Tonight Show when he was on at 10. You could argue that they should have been higher since he was on 95 minutes earlier but there was a shitload more competition in that hour.

Next month.........there was talk of Prince being on the opening show.

I'm not sure if that is still the case.

I think Leno commands more money for being on the tonight show. Replacing Leno with Fallen at a fraction of the cost of Leno is just a business decision. (Comcast owns NBC.) So, even if the tonight show comes in 2nd place with Fallen they may make more money off the show.

As for other comedians not liking him that is some what true. But, I believe it was either Chris Rock or Jerry Seinfeld said recently that Leno was a great comedian until he started the tonight show.

Fallen will have to tone it down to appeal to a wider audience (Something Conan wasn't able to do.) Although, Letterman was able to tone it down.

I don't hate Leno but I like Kimmel and (when he's good) Conan better. I can't stand Jimmy Fallon.

Thank you! Watch Arsenio come back and blow all of them out of the water. nod Never felt that Jimmy Fallon was funny even when he was on SNL. Leno is okay and Kimmel is okay, but I've always loved Conan as the best out of that bunch. I loved it when he gave NBC the middle finger a few years back.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Fallon is my fave... lurking hes nit a good interviewer, but his show is very well rounded and he aint got no shame. he very much performs in his show as much as he does talk. i like that hes fairly well rounded....a little song, a little dance...and even batman's head on a lance.

Kimmel is hilarious. Love his show. Leno wasnt too bad in the beginning, but his schtick got old REAL fast and it amazes me that he is consistantly the ratings champ. I like Fallon, but sometimes he gets on my nerves. I doubt I'll be changing from Kimmel as his show consistantly makes me laugh.
