Sometimes people do that when they type common phrases because they assume people know the rest. Know what I mean?

Plus obviously he has never seen your pictures, otherwise he wouldn't have had asked that question. You are a very beautiful woman who doesn't need to make the first move, like ever!

I'm not mad either way. If I make the first move, & she's accepting, that's fine. If she makes the first move, I'm probably going to be even more turned on than I already was, so I DEFINITELY wouldn't be mad @ that.

It's the circumstance, imo. If I just met you [very first date, meeting or something like that], & you're trying to jump me, I definitely would take precautions. I like it when a woman lets me know she's interested, definitely. Eye contact, subtle touching, bascially letting me know the lights are green. She's letting me know, "Go ahead and make a move."

Aggressively pursuing me though, would make me nervous. Especially if I didn't respond well to the first advance but she keeps going. Is she desperate? Trying to roll me? Wants to make a baby? Just clueless and not paying attention to me? None of those are good answers.

Sometimes I don't know if I'm interested right away, maybe there's another girl in the club I have my eye on but not sure if she's alone yet, and I need to find out before talking to someone else. Maybe I need to get my nerve up. Maybe you just need to be patient so the guy can make a move later. Then he can still FEEL like he was the one that made the first move even if you put the thought in his head.

So yes ladies make the first move - or even a pre-move - but be gracious and don't freak out if it's not picked up on.

I think people should simply do what they are comfortable doing and not go by any formula. It is sort of like "All men like women with long hair", " all men prefer blondes over brunettes", " all men prefer thin women". Certainly there is a large supply of men who prefer women with long blonde hair, thin bodies and prefer to wait for men to make the first move. However there are plenty of closet chubby chasers, men who like short hair on women, and women who are openly bold.

You don't want to make a move that makes both of you uncomfortable should your attraction not be mutual. It helps to have a sense of humor and use it to draw the person in. Really, all you want them to do to begin with is talk to you.
