Never. Mind.
(NOT nevermind edit)
I think you're confusing the issue. While we can safely assume there are more Moms fufilling their duties as parents, there ARE Dads who are doing the same, yet the recognition level is not the same.
That. Is. All.

Well I care about this sort of stuff because it is nice to be acknowledge by the people I take care of at least one day a year. Being a mother is the most selfless, self-sacrificing job anyone can have. It may a made up holiday to some of you, but so be it. |

I called my uncle Michael to wish him a happy father's day because I never had a dad in my life and he replied back with "I appreciate it".

My dad was somewhat in my life but he died fairly young(55), and almost 20 years ago so i don't really trip on Fathers day.
I guess i could call up my male relatives that have kids....
Never thought about that.
Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon. |

They should - kids need them as much as they need their mums
It's really up to the individual dads what role they play in their kids life
They may not b good husbands / partners but they should always try n b fantastic fathers and role models mailto:www.iDon'tThinkSo.com.Uranus |

I ordered the cheap combo plate off the menu, but made sure that my dad ordered a big steak.
One day when my kids are old enough to treat ME to Father's Day dinner, I'll be ordering that steak for myself.

:falloff: I'm sorry, but this just struck me as funny. Like you were at the table picking at your cheap combo plate, just eyeing that big steak, thinking 'one of these days...' |
