I think the best thing that was modeled was shorts that aren't black or khaki, and shoes that aren't flip flops, sneakers, or lace-ups.

Unless you have sagging kneecaps, why not? Just don't wear short shorts. A nice Burmurda short length is fine, even if you have fishbelly legs!

OMG. Sweetie had a pair of coach's shorts when we first met. He wore them exactly once, I clowned him mercilessly, and never saw them (the shorts) again.
