Bad guys, beware: John Luther is back in action.

This preview of Luther‘s long-awaited third season — which bows on BBC America Tuesday, September 3 at 10/9c — promises an intense batch of episodes starring the equally intense detective.

Explosions? Yes. Sirens? Yes. Tears? Yes. New love interest played by Resident Evil‘s Sienna Guillory? Yes. Luther dangling some guy over the side of a building? Yes (and gulp!). Alice? Yes, yes yes!!!

Dammit, I still need to finish watching Season 1 and then proceed on to Season 2 before Sept. 3rd!!!

I hang my head in shame. I thought this was a mini-series about MLK jr., in like, not another one attitude. Then I noticed people kept talking about it, so I took a peek. I felt so stupid. Anyway, I've seen it enjoyed it, but I do have a question about the differences of the UK and American style of perceived police detectives. He does things I think would get a serious frown from a US view. Then again I don't watch many detective shows so made it's the same.

Finish it and then watch it again! That's what I've been doing, altho not in order. I discovered it randomly thru Netflix last year and I love it!! Great cast, eye candy, and dark stories. Hopefully the new season will be available in the US before the end of the year.

i saw him win the golden globe, so i put luther season 1 in my netflix. i took it w/me when i went up to see my mom in san fran, and we watched it. we where on the edge of seats the whole time! when i got home, i watched the second disk had arrived, and after i watched it, i sent it up to my mom so she could watched, before mailing it back. we got hooked!
