Does he have a noisy bell around his neck???

If not get one - the noise from the bell will warn the birds and they will have a better chance of getting away

I think all cats should have bells on their collars

Has he brought you a snake yet? I was in my back yard and picked up what I thought was a black soaker hose. When I lifted it off the ground, I saw this white underbelly. It was a black snake! It was about 4 feet long. Charlie Griffin had bitten the snake's head off and laid that thing at my doorstep, and I picked it up thinking it was a hose. I had to go wash out my draws...

Are the birds that slow in your area, or is your cat so fast?

I play music for him. Keeps him inside. No dead birds or mice today.

He's listening to on of his fave Prince cd's; the Truth.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

About a month ago my wife and I were doing yard work in the front yard. I guess my wife didn't know it, but I'd laid a black soaker hose throughout the roots of the azaleas in the front yard. Apparently she stumbled upon it and thought it was a snake. Maybe she screamed but I didn't hear it.

So I look up and there's my wife, dragging the soaker hose. "Honey, what are you doing with the soaker hose?" I asked. "Throwing it away," she replied.

I guess she wanted to teach the soaker hose a lesson, LOL.

BTW, I saved the soaker hose.

highfive I don't blame you for holding on to it. They aren't cheap. Maybe you could paint some polka dots on it so your wife won't be so freaked out when she sees it. lol
