I'm trying to figure how much things change in a 60 year period It doesn't seem to me that things changed THAT much from 50s vs. how much the changed from the 1890s to the 50s. Perhaps this last 60 years were more about social changes. I'm just trying to figure what would be the major changes by the 2070s.

Technology seems to be changing our society the most. As resources become more scarce, I suspect that will change our society too. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Maybe, I would imagine transplanting a person from 1890s to the 1950s would give them a heart attack everything changed, I'm guessing, music comes to mind the difference seems so much more vastly different. There were radio waves and engines in that time period. Now transplant a person from the 50s to today, we've gone from cables to internet, but I would think the most of shocking would be the social differences mainly, a woman buying her own house, going out to purchase her own car all by herself, stuff like that. On one hand it doesn't seem like that much changed until you take social changes into account, seems like there was a breather to get other things in order before there is this major burst forward. Perhaps I'm not seeing something.
