When it's warmer, they will go out, and therefore have a elevated chance to meet.

Bars and clubs are pretty damn empty during the summers. They're usually the fullest sometime in September - October, during the Christmas party season and then again in late-March - April - early-May.

I know that I meet my friends more during the summer.

It's nice to meet at a terrace and sit outside. Enjoy the city in the summer.

And yes, there are also a lot of outside festivals.

And Bars & Clubs in holiday places are pretty full in summers.

I know in Amsterdam they are.


It's just less local people, more tourists.

What can be a delightful change sometimes.

But, for real, I'm starting a new exercise and diet regime the beginning of May. This new job requires travel, which means I ususally eat on the go. That also means I've been eating total garbage, that has not only added a few lbs, but has also absolutely drained my energy. I have got to do better about this.
