Not a big movie fan... hmmm... I like 'Amadeus' a lot. Or maybe 'Shawshank Redemption'.

I'm gonna go with 'Airplane!' lol

Amadeus is excellent.

Great movie, better book.

I think I was probably too young when I first attempted to read that book (...like around 13). Although, I had read William Peter Blatty's novel "The Exorcist" several times over in the prior year, so perhaps there's just something about the storyline of "The Godfather" that keeps me stuck on stupid.

Still, I'm going to take MissFee's advice, and give it another shot (...from a different perspective).

[Edited 4/7/13 14:06pm]

I think I was about 12 when I first read it. My mother would not let us see the movie, even though my grandfather (probably either) would have taken me.

So I went to the library and borrowed the book. The best written book I'd ever read. (I'd already read The Hobbitt and LOTR trilogy.) I remembering why I was still bothering with books in the children's section.

I'd check out books and say they were for my mother. I don't think she believed me. I didn't read all of them and some of them I needed a dictionary for, but novvels kept me hooked on reading.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.
