The Look-Away Loon

In the mist that is your mind,
is a cobalt cove of presumed placidity
inked by colossal sleepless squid

But I see a chrome cup, washed up
momentarily a bright reflector
of the tarnished ether

I am the lone loon wandering
Leaving a bloody trail behind me
I swim by
sullying the sea

Torn Wing

Tormenting you
the witness who must endure
the apparition
of a broken body.

But never mind this

Soon into the sky I soar.

I am looking forward to my first Prince concert since Musicology and well, I think 1400 capacity is better than the DC overflow nosebleeds I got last time. My BFF is taking me. She is swell but my DH took me to my last one. so. God Bless Oregon tonight and my sleepy self.

If I look all over the place, its becuz I gave up wine for lent. And. Well. Lent is over.
