Ok, so the fact that I am unemployed and sleeping on a friend's couch means that I am totally a guy magnet? In some ways, I feel like I cannot put myself out there to date because here's my opening line: "Yeah I'm unemployed and crashing on a friend's couch." Are guys into chicks who are unemployed activists? Trolls be gone! |

Oh is that annoying music?
Yeah, probably...I mean, I quite like them myself, and they're probably not as terrible as you might think judging by the name, but I'm likely a minority of one in holding that opinion.

At minimum, he knows I live in a frozen backwater & I have questionable taste in music.
I'm not sure if he knows I'm a little obsessed with ants.

Wha? That just makes you a catch. Shit, I may not be good enough, but then that would just make it a challenge to get with someone so good and together, and I'd surely have to raise my game to do that. If not, yay me for getting someone so good and together with my lack of goodness and togetherness. I'd be dating above my station! Aren't we supposed to aim high, for the best or at least someone good? It's absurd to run from that. Probably then complain about the crappy partner they end up with but who they at least don't feel intimidated around. I actually meant it in the 'business-speak' sense, I guess - a problem that can't be worked around.

How confusing
I work for myself in the room that I sleep and rarely get out
I don't talk much, I'm married and have 3 kids
I guess those are my showstoppers
But I can cook well and exercise on a trampoline
I meant to ask you something about ants. I've noticed (much to my kids amazement and amusement) that when I cut the kids toenails out on the back patio, that ants come and take the clipping and run off with them into their nest. Why? I'm the mistake you wanna make |

It depends. Is the question theoretical? If it is, sure, why not? If it's specifcally about you, of course not, you're an idiot. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!! |

I can’t recall ever reading about that behaviour before (going after toenails), but most ant species are omnivores and will go after almost anything. I did a bit of searching and found a good number of pages where people had witnessed the same thing. They’re probably going after either the dead skin on the nails, the protein in the actual nail, or (likely) both.
