So, one time I was at a friend's house who just raved about Kevin Hart. Then, she put in a DVD and I suffered through over an hour of his DVD and I think I only half-way laughed ONCE. I'm sorry but
I just don't see what's so funny about this guy. Am I the only one here who thinks this dude is overrated/unfunny?

I've only seen him on SNL and I, too, didn't get it.

He tries to hard to be funny, and it comes off as lame.

He's only been funny to me when he is the butt of jokes like on Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Saw him live september last year (ticket was free). I had a Hart time not to fall asleep. That's how much he bored me.

That's how I felt during that god-awful DVD. I'm sitting here wishing that the fire alarm in the building would go off to escape that misery. I think she eventually figured out that I wasn't entertained and turned that bullshit off but man oh man do I want that 90 minutes or so back, LOL!

Good thing you didn't pay for that ticket to that show, LOL! Were the people around you laughing?

A friend of mine seen him in concert last October. I remember she was all excited to go to the show

I didn't have it in my heart to tell her my opinion and say he sucks i was like cool sounds like fun

When i spoke to her later she said she was disappointed and it wasn't worth what she paid

The only thing he has done which I thought was funny was when he was in Soul Plane but he is no where on the level this generation hypes him.

I once got in a debate with someone claiming he was funnier than Eddie Murphy. I am going to stop debating with peple my age because they dont know nothing about entertainment and their just brainwashed by whats out now.

Unfortunately your statement says a lot.

I think he is kinda hot for a short guy.

However I think his comedy act is much like any person I would run into at a bus stop talking shit.

It's as funny as that, which is a dime a dozen.

The comic view thing isn't working for me I watch it now and then but they should get back some old comedians such as Bruce Bruce and Laura

He's good at telling a story, that's my opinion of him. My daughter and sister think that I am crazy but he's not funny. He's good for a few chuckles and that's about it. I love him on Hollywood House Husband whatever show,and again that show is telling a story.

He has his moments, but he's kinda wearing himself too thin with me. That's just my opinion, of course.

What makes him funny are his facial expressions when he is telling his jokes and he actually told a joke about a guy getting hit so hard change fell out of his pockets Now that shit is funny

Kevin is cool, but I think Rodman is the funniest comedian in the last ten yrs-dude is hilarious

I still believe for my generation that Chappelle reigns as the best comedian. Even though he isn't in the spotlight anymore, I'd pay to see Dave Chappelle live in stand up in a milli second. Kevin Hart is just okay, but not really all that funny, however, his show on BET, Real Husbands of Hollywood, is quite funny, but the cast is what helps make it funny, if it was just Kevin by himself, the show would be stale as week old bread.

I will take Eddie Griffin over Kevin, ALL DAY...ANY DAY.
