That sound like something some stringy haired red-neck woman would say.

I do that.

Sometimes I only know a word in English and can't come up with the Dutch word.

I'm a horrible speller. In both Dutch & English.

I hate it when people talk about themselves in 3rd person. Unfortunately that's a trend in Holland.

Are you kidding?!! If you didn't tell people you were Dutch, I would think that you were a native English speaker... Americans are so far behind in learning other languages...it just ain't funny anymore... Not to mention that higher education in this country is no longer valued... Just what money a degree can get you when you're done. We might as well do away with academics and make our universities run-of-the-mill vocational centers... razz

Dutch people are always so talented when it comes to knowing other languages well worship. I guess partly because of the fact that they are used to watch movies in English. I wish it was like that here in Austria too pout.

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Yes.

Over here the English Language is a mandatory curriculum at every school.

And I'm very happy that tv productions always get broadcasted in the original language.

Allthough, there is a change going on for youth series. Somehow, they started to dub those.

And Dutch people always brag about themselves.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I am officially jealous pout

When my ex stayed in Germany with his ex-wife they always went to the Netherlands (it was close to the Dutch border where they stayed) to watch movies in English because his German isn't that good.

Empress

I hate when people say "imma". It's not a word.

I also hate the word leverage! It's so overused in the business world.

I hate the word "literally." It's literally always used incorrectly.

You reminded me though, I don't like when people say ''I am all like this, and she was all like 'OMG!'''
