Vonage Does anybody here have Vonage? Or has anyone used it in the past? I'm curious if it's reliable and good...or not so great.

A few years ago ... i would say 6 or so ... a buddy of mine switched ... and he hated it .
Said the calls were not clear . etc .
I got "magicjack" which is a similar internet based thing ... i got it at a time when i was paying like 23/month so for 50/yr ... i figured hey ... i will try it .
i rarely use it . Similar to what i think of with vonage - it just doesnt seem like a nice connection and of course when talking .... u gotta make sure your internet isnt being used also cus then it seems like you get alot more interference too ....
just my .02 cents ... Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

IMPORTANT:
If you have an alarm system in your home, it typically sends signals through your phone lines to the Fire Dept. and/or Police Dept.
Most systems are not compatible with Vonage nor Magic Jack.

Magic Jack Plus doesn't require a computer, you can use your existing number, and you get free local and international calls. I've been thinking about trying this out... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
